Travelling abroad on business is an amazing experience, but it's important for us all do our part in reducing our carbon footprint while exploring new places.
Here are some easy ways you can make a difference:
1. Embrace Technology: Utilizing virtual meeting platforms, such as video conferencing and telepresence, reduces the need for physical travel without sacrificing communication quality
2. Prioritize Direct Flights and Efficient Transportation: When travel is necessary, opting for direct flights minimizes carbon emissions compared to connecting flights.
3. Choose Sustainable Accommodations: Look for hotels and lodging facilities with green certifications, such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) or Green Key
4. Offset Carbon Emissions: Companies can invest in carbon offset programs. These initiatives fund projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, such as reforestation, renewable energy development, or methane capture
5. Encourage Sustainable Behavior: Implementing policies that incentivize eco-friendly practices, such as choosing sustainable transportation options or minimizing paper usage
6. Measure and Improve: Implementing tracking systems to measure carbon emissions, resource consumption, and environmental impact allows companies to identify areas for improvement and set targets for reducing their footprint over time
Let's all work together in creating a more eco-friendly world, one trip at a time! 🌎✈️

Sicily Golf Experience - Italy
On our Sicily Golf Experience you will stay for 4 nights at the Roccoforte Verdura Resort, on Half Board, with a round of golf included as well as 1/2 Day excursion to Valley of the Temples & Kolymbetra Gardens, with a picnic lunch.
Sciacca
Fishing, carnivals and spas may seem like a strange mix of characteristics, but these are the things that really sum up the town of Sciacca.
From its port the town climbs up cliffs until it reaches a kind of plateau from which the views out to sea are stunning. Dominating the views inland is Monte Cronio, home to steaming, gurgling tufa caves that for so long have drawn visitors. Nearby up and down the coast are a series of wonderful, relatively uncrowded beaches. Only a relatively narrow stretch of sea divides Sciacca from North Africa and in many respects, the town owes a great deal to the Arabs who sailed across the Mediterranean in 840.
Today, Sciacca’s main industry is fishing and the fleet in Sciacca is amongst the largest in Italy. Heading down to the port early in the morning is a real spectacle and the restaurants in Sciacca will be serving up the day’s catch just a few hours later.
Roccoforte Verdura Resort
Welcome to Verdura Resort: 230 hectares of sun-kissed Mediterranean coastline, countryside, spa and golf. Olive trees, orange groves and white-sand beaches. Tennis courts, water sports, championship golf and kids’ clubs. Infinity pools, thalassotherapy and the flagship Rocco Forte Spa. Fine dining, healthy eating and world-famous local wine. Luxurious eco-architecture and organic ingredients, grown on their land. Verdura is an oasis, a centre of wellbeing, escapism and indulgence set against backdrop of charming Sicilian villages, ancient Greek and Roman sites and the beautiful, blue Mediterranean Sea.
