Rah Rah Theatre Company was set up by Jude Spooner and Gemma Beagley in 2001 and was formed, primarily, to bring theatre into the community. So far, Rah Rah Theatre Company has taken forty productions on tour around London and the Home Counties. Rah Rah pride themselves in writing and producing all their own original material, and all productions are interactive, aiming to encourage audiences to j
oin in as much as possible, so as to create a memorable experience. Their productions are brought directly into Theatres, Schools, Care Centres, Community spaces and Outdoor Events and can be adapted to be performed in any size area for any size of audience. Rah Rah Theatre Company is very proud to announce that they have just received Arts Council of England funding for their new show “My Mind Is Free”. The aim of the show is to raise awareness of human trafficking. Over the past few years, the company has been funded by five different councils, to write and produce shows within their respective boroughs. Rah Rah has also worked for several councils including: Bracknell, Kensington and Chelsea, Kingston, Lewisham, Merton, and Wandsworth, as well as for a number of different companies and charities, including: the Imperial War Museum, The National Trust, The Rose Theatre, Trinity Theatre, Colour House Children’s Theatre, Age UK, Age Concern, BUPA, Sunrise and Senior Living, and various NHS.
