From 24 May to 15 June, the festival promises 23 nights of unforgettable experiences, exploring the theme of ‘Humanity’ through Light, Music, Ideas and Food.
Australia’s largest event will transform Sydney with mesmerising light installations and 3D projections from Circular Quay to The Goods Line; genre-spanning music performances and creative showcases; a formidable Vivid Ideas program featuring experiences that will open minds; and a mouth-watering Vivid Food program. #feelnewsydney #vividsydney

Australia Day in 49s
Australia Day 2024 highlighted the beauty of Sydney Harbour from dawn to dusk 🌅. The Sydney Opera House showcased a powerful 3D Aboriginal artwork at sunrise, followed by a cleansing smoking ceremony at Barangaroo Reserve 🎨🔥. The day unfolded with non-stop activities around the harbor, featuring thrilling displays by the Royal Australian Air Force and the fastest Ferry Race ⚓✈️. The evening concluded with Australia Day Live at the Opera House, offering a grand finale concert and a spectacular fireworks show over Circular Quay 🎆🎶. What a spectacular day! #feelnewsydney

West Side Story on Sydney Harbour 2024
The critically acclaimed and wildly popular West Side Story on Sydney Harbour will return to the harbour stage from 22 March – 21 April 2024. Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour starts with the sun setting over Sydney Harbour as spectators raise a glass and drink in the view at one of the five pop up bars and restaurants on site, before enjoying the enthralling show, complete with live orchestra hidden beneath the dramatic stage and fireworks in the balmy night air. 🎼
