Who enjoyed watching the Triathlon at today? We certainly did! If you enjoyed it we have a Triathlon taking place here this Sunday - the Outlaw Triathlon which consists of just under 1500 athletes completing a 2.4mile swim, 112mile bike ride and 26.2mile run!!

Come and cheer on the athletes - it's free to come and watch and is a great way of getting into the spirit of the Commonwealth Games

Great idea..

Here’s our mascot Miss Bin-It taking on kids in a tug of war with a rope made of wet wipes.

The challenge, which convinced them to only flush the three Ps – p*e, poo and paper, took place at this year’s Worthing and Adur EYE Project Eco-Summit.

Pupils from St Philip’s Catholic Primary School in Arundel took on Miss Bin-It to demonstrate the strength of wet wipes – which do not disintegrate in water like toilet paper and can cause blockages if they are flushed away.

The EYE project, founded by East Worthing and Shoreham MP Tim Loughton, encourages young people to make a difference and help the environment. www.eyeproject.co.uk
