I am very sad to announce that Royal Forest Show has been cancelled for 2024 due to a change in personal circumstances.

No one is more sad than I am at having the cancel the event but I need to focus on my family at this time. Please be kind in any comments / messages and emails.

We are now accepting registrations for the Royal Forest Show 2024!

It feels very strange to be writing this to you all, but I have come to the decision to slowly wind down Local Discovery Card - this is a process that will not happen overnight, due to the many facets of the business.

I have loved every second of this journey, meeting hundreds of amazing people, learning all about small businesses across the region and being able to champion local at a time when everyone needed that extra support.

This year has been an extremely challenging time for me personally and those close to me know that I have pushed and pushed to keep things going as much as I can, but I have to start prioritising my own health and the needs of my family.

The sheer volume of work that goes into Local Discovery Card is vast and I am no longer able to give it the time it truly deserves.

Members - I am asking all partners to honour any existing memberships, you should not have any issues using your memberships, but they will not continue to renew after the summer.

Thank you to everyone for all of your continued love and support and I hope to see many of you at one of our Local Discovery Events in the future.

We are delighted to announce that you are able to register your interest to be a vendor at our brand new Festive Forest event 2nd and 3rd December at The Speech House Hotel.

The event will include an ice rink, food stalls, Christmas Market, Grotto and hopefully a fun fair. Pitches are much more limited for this event with less than half the spaces available at the Royal Forest Show, so please register your interest here - https://forms.office.com/e/LefTg4GK12, and we will be in touch.

EDIT - We sold out of outdoor pitches, but I have managed to fit one more in due to some businesses having double pitches and saving space. Please get in touch if you’re interested asap.

We have just 5 indoor and 2 outdoor pitches left at Royal Forest Show, Saturday 17th June.

Our event last year saw over 3000 attendees and many of our vendors sold out multiple times after having more stock brought to them. It’s going to be a fantastic family day on Father’s Day weekend.

Pitches start at £45.

Evening all, I’m going away for a few days… and I can’t believe I’m saying this but… CHILD FREE!

I am going to get around 60 hours without my beautiful toddler twins to fully relax and unwind before things get even more hectic in the lead up to Royal Forest Show
