Did you know 💡... Hammerkops create huge nests (sometimes more than 1.5m across) often near water and in the forks of trees. They build these nests in pairs, and have been known to build between 3-5 nests in a single breeding season.

Did you know 💡...
Hooded vultures are endangered with their population declining by 50% over the past 50 years. They are often hunted for food or traditional medicine, poisoned incidentally by farmers and have a seen large reduction and degradation of their habitat. Fortunately they can still be seen frequently in the Okavango Delta.
