UK Bike Week is being celebrated from 10th-16th June and volunteer Ride Leaders Gemma, Rebecca and Cordula invite you to a Belfast Greenway Cycle leaving Springfield Dam and exploring the Forth Meadow area.

This Community Bike Ride is in conjunction with Belfast City Council

Meeting point is Springfield Dam at 10.30am on 16th June 2024.

Every day we get the same question at our Information desk - where can we go for a walk in The Burren?

And our answer is always the same - The Burren National Park

Why?

Because although the Burren is over 100 square miles, the area designated as ‘The Burren National Park’ already has the walking and hiking trails mapped out for you so that you know that where you are walking is safe, legal, and designed to give you the best experience of the local flora, fauna and landscapes.

Not only that, but the National Park Service also provide a completely free shuttle bus service to the start of the trails from their information point in Corofin where you can safely park your car. This helps to protect the Burren environment by reducing traffic and stopping cars from parking alongside already narrow roads.

Well the National Park walking guides are also available for completely free guided walks in the National Park, and can design a route suitable just for you. Just drop them an email or give them a call to check their availability or follow their socials for their advertised programme of events.

This is not park4sh*te. This app was made and designed for tourist to find facilities and amenities while traveling around Ireland. It's designed to help local businesses get new and returning customers. It's to support small camp sites and adventure providers draw in more customers. It to make life easy and convenient while road tripping. It's to show you where the bin is so you can put your rubbish in it and not in the sand dunes! This app was designed to help. It's to provide you with great discounts that local businesses have agreed to give you in order for you to support them in return.

What this app is not.....

A way for you to locate a beautiful location for you to p**s in the bushes, set the ground on fire and dispose of your rubbish all over the show, all the while p**sing off the locals, the local council and the decent folk who don't do such things.
