Good morning, there may be a chance for parts of Kent who missed out yesterday to develop some heavy showers / thunderstorms this afternoon. Met Office data suggests around the 3pm point for northern parts of the county

This week is exactly one year away from our U.S. Storm Chase 2025! We will be spending the first two weeks of June Stateside, in what is traditionally the second most active month of the storm season.
We have decided to avoid the peak month of May this time for several reasons, one of which is to hopefully keep away from the increased 'chaser convergence' seen during the more popular month of May.
Just for fun, we will be using this next two weeks as a bit of practice with some mock forecasting and chasing to see how we 'would've done'.
Anyone can get involved and we invite our followers to leave us comments and suggestions of their own chase targets on the posts we share. We will try to make it as realistic as possible by factoring in the driving times from our base on the previous day to pick viable targets.
So here we go, mock chase day one outlook coming soon!

What a good evening / morning chase with Kent Storm Chasers Managed to stay out of the precip and enjoy a wonderful lightning show from Dungeness and into Sussex. Hope everyone else managed to catch some of the storm action? Plenty of it going on around

Bearing in mind it is only 15:33 hours in the States right now, it’s been a busy afternoon for TORs already. Cannot wait to get back out there in 2025 with Kent Storm Chasers
