There are only a few tickets left for this Thursday's festive CS Lewis loop walk (21st December), starting at 11am from the Wyche Cutting bus stop. We'll be heading up & over the Worcestershire Beacon before following Narnia's gas lamps through Great Malvern via St. Anne's Well, the Unicorn, the Priory & Malvern College then returning up the Pixie Path to the Wyche Cutting where we began. "We had a great time on this walk and the weather was fab, which always makes a difference. Dan was very friendly and accommodating and will adapt the walk to suit your needs/ability. Dan is super knowledgeable about the area and pointed out lots of interesting facts and history on the Malvern’s as well as discussing Tolkien and CS Lewis. We chose the Tolkien walk which started at the Bus stop on Walwyn Rd, then up and over Perseverance Hill, Jubilee Hill, Pinnacle, Black Hill and finally British Camp Hill fort and Giants Cave before heading back. In all we did just under 7 miles and ended up at the Wyche Inn for a pint. It couldn’t have gone any better 😊 For any Tolkien or Lewis fans, if you want something more than just a walk in the Malvern’s then this is it.
