Manchester has a lot to offer for visitors! Here are some great activities:

1. Explore the Northern Quarter: This vibrant neighbourhood is known for its street art Murals Akse P19 is one of my favs or wander round to take in the amazing architecture of our city. There are walking tours you can book on to. Top Tip...Piccadilly gardens isn't much of a garden but hopefully some exciting plans will be put into action:) However Sackville Gardens is def worth a visit to see Alan Turing Statue.
2. NQ Independent shops, MCDC - Manchester Craft & Design Centre, Afflecks Manchester Pre-loved clothes shops and trendy bars like 33 Oldham Street and restaurants TNQ - The Northern Quarter Restaurant & Bar or The Pen and Pencil or great cafe's like Fig + Sparrow. There are some dog friendly establishments too.
3. See a football match: Manchester is home to two world-famous football clubs, Manchester United and Manchester City. If you're a football fan, catching a match at one of their stadiums is a must-do. The yellow trams from Piccadilly gardens will get you to the grounds. There is even a interactive Football museum that is great for all ages near Victoria train station.
4. Visit the John Rylands Library: This stunning 19th-century library is home to a vast collection of rare books and manuscripts. This is a great place to learn about the rich region's history , culture, and natural world.
5. Take a walk in Heaton Park: This beautiful park is one of the largest in Europe and is home to an animal centre, a boating lake, and a golf course. June each year sees Park life Festival come to Manchester too.
6. Visit the Science and Industry Museum: This museum showcases Manchester's industrial heritage and explores the city's role in the development of science and technology. Kids and big kids love this!
7. Enjoy the nightlife: Manchester has a lively nightlife scene including the fabulous Canal Street with a variety of bars, clubs, and music venues. We are very diverse and welcome everyone - however you identify, no matter who you choose to love!

8. Explore the canals: Manchester has a network of canals that offer scenic walks and boat trips. Great for walking your dogs too.
9. Visit the Manchester Art Gallery: This gallery houses a large collection of art, including works by local artists and famous names such as Van Gogh and Turner and of course our own matchstick man L.S. Lowry.
10. Take a day trip: Manchester is well-connected to other cities and attractions in the region, so it's easy to take a day trip to places like Liverpool, the Peak District, or the Lake District. Piccadilly Train station will help you to get to all of these and only 10mins walk from Lushpads & Satori serviced apartments.
