Just booked 🙌🏼 I just know this is one I’m going to end up booking for myself…

My client wanted to see the Northern Lights for a special big birthday trip so I have arranged…

- 3 nights/4 full days in Reykjavik
- A Northern Lights tour to take place on the first night so if they don’t appear they can go out looking for them again on another night free of charge
- A whale watching boat tour
- A full day Golden Circle tour with a stop at the secret lagoon
- B&B accommodation in a lovely central hotel
- Flights, luggage and transfers all included

The cost was just £1050 pp based on two adults in a room each, or just £750 pp if two adults were to share one room.

This is based on travelling 26th March 2025 but as always I can plan your trip for any date that suits you!

How absolutely gorgeous are these real client pics 💙

This was a fairly last minute booking for a mum and 14 year old son who wanted a hotel with a pool, near the sea, somewhere they could explore. We had a good chat through some options and landed on Sorrento, and it looks like they’ve had a fab time!

Can you keep a secret!? No me neither. Which is lucky for all of you because until now Parga has been one of Greece’s best kept secrets, situated on the mainland it’s often overlooked in favour of the Greek islands but this little gem has been a Travel Counsellors favourite for years and it’s not hard to see why.

My top pick here is Parga Beach Resort, a laidback 5 star hotel that sits right on the blue flag Valtos Beach. Rooms and suites are spread across individual bungalow-style buildings scattered around the lush gardens, amid ancient olive trees and the pretty as a picture town of Parga is just a short walk or water-taxi ride away. Food lovers will love it here too, with a choice of 3 a la carte restaurants, a beach bar and a pool bar.

It’s easily accessible from all major UK airports and definitely one to put on the list.

It’s nearly time for me to head off to Mallorca to research some gorgeous properties for you lot!

I know there’s been a fair bit of negative press around Mallorca recently, but I’m keen to find out if it’s as the press are saying or if it’s been blown out of all proportion. I’m really hoping the latter, as this is such a gorgeous island and offers so many amazing options for families, friends and couples alike.

Whilst I’m there I’m staying at three very different but very beautiful hotels, the one pictured here is Hotel Basilica in Palma City. I love to be able to explore in the morning and relax by the pool in the afternoon so this one looks perfect for me and I’m sure it will be perfect for some of you too. I’m looking forward to finding out.

Cambodia is calling! This has been at the top of my bucket list for a long while and I’m very excited to have been invited on an amazing trip this November hosted by one of my fabulous suppliers 🇰🇭

I’ll be arriving in the capital city of Phnom Penh, a bustling mix of French colonialist architecture and modern shops, bars and restaurants that sits at the junction of the Mekong and Tonlé Sap rivers.

After that I’ll be heading to the provincial city of Battambang, taking a tuk-tuk tour out into the countryside, riding the famous bamboo train and spending an evening at the circus watching theatre, story, dance, music and circus acts telling uniquely Cambodian stories.

My trip will end in Siem Reap where I’ll visit Angkor Watt for sunrise, as well as travelling to the northern edge of Tonle Sap Lake to see the village of Kompong Phluk, where locals live on stilted houses rising up from the ground.

The purpose of this trip is for me to experience this country firsthand so I can advise my clients in the best possible way. I’ll also be visiting a number of hotels whilst I’m there so I can make the best recommendations for different wants and needs. I can’t wait!

The Grecotel hotels have long been amongst my favourites, and their LUXME All Inclusive Holiday Concept puts them firmly in the realms of Ikos and Sani but without the price tag.

For instance a family of 4 can spend a week during the summer holidays all inclusive in a two bedroom family sea view suite at the Grecotel LUX ME White Palace in Crete from just £8700. Full disclaimer - if you want the much better flight times the price does increase to £9800, but it’s still considerably less than some other premium all inclusive resorts I can think of!

These hotels really are a fantastic option for families looking for all the facilities you could want for the kids, alongside a premium food and drink offering and lots of little touches of luxury for the adults. For more information get in touch anytime.

Just booked 🙌🏼 this Andalusian gem really is a thing of beauty.

Named for the gypsy style of Flamenco danced barefoot, the design of La Zambra manages to make a large resort hotel feel like a boutique one. The operators are Marugal who are known for putting aesthetics and quality first, and much like the other world class hotels in their portfolio their portfolio, which includes Cap Rocat, Torralbenc and Gecko Beach, La Zambra is a lesson in laidback luxury.

Although it’s just 20-30 minutes from Malaga Airport it is a little bit out on a limb, if you’re looking to explore the local area a car is a must, but if you’re looking for a destination resort where you can eat, drink and relax in between a few rounds of golf and pampering sessions in the spa this place is it. It’s ideal for a romantic weekend away or a trip with friends.

Just booked 🙌🏼 a lovely city break in Stockholm for a luck lady’s surprise birthday gift. This is such a cool city, and one that probably doesn’t get enough attention.

From picturesque cobbled streets dotted with independent shops and seriously impressive architecture, to a metro system that has been tunnelled into rocks and looks like something from a post apocalyptic movie, Stockholm has it all. There’s a host of idyllic restaurants and bars, and afternoon tea is something on a daily ritual here.

There’s museums, art galleries, lakeside saunas, classic movie theatres, hidden gardens and much more - and all of it spread across 14 little islands connected by bridges and boats. Venice eat your heart out.

So whether you’re here for endless shopping, people-watching or to hit the clubs for a big night out, Stockholm has something for you.

Oh has everyone else binge watched ‘One Day’ on Netflix? 💙 It’s one of my favourite books and I was so disappointed by the movie (who casts Anne Hathaway as a relatable Leeds lass!?) but so far the series has been brilliant.

I’ve just watched episode 4 where they while away lazy days in the Greek sun and I thought you might be wondering which island they were on and I can tell you it’s Paros, one of the lesser visited islands (for now at least) and definitely one for your list.

As you can see in these gorgeous pics courtesy of it’s an absolute beauty. It’s also got some much more affordable accommodation options than the likes of Mykonos and Santorini. It’s a bit more difficult to get to as you’ll likely need to fly into a bigger airport and get a ferry over but it’s so worth the extra effort.

I love to find a little gem for my clients and this one is a beauty!

I was tasked with finding accommodation on Thailand’s Koh Yao Noi or Koh Yao Yao islands as part of a wider itinerary for a family of 3 this summer. They wanted to be away from the crowds and stay somewhere that had two separate bedrooms but that also didn’t break the bank.

Costal Escape Koh Yao Noi is a collection of just 4 serviced villas dotted around a beautiful beachside infinity pool. There is a family friendly restaurant on site serving breakfast each day as well as lunch, dinner and cocktails throughout the day. There’s a variety of wellness packages available for some in-villa pampering, or if you’re looking for something more active make use of the bike and canoe hire or take one of the local hiking trails.

I think this is going to be one of those places that I end up booking for myself!

So here’s something you don’t find at every hotel - the Four Seasons Lanai now offers it’s own private jet service to help you get on an off this lesser visited Hawaiian island.

I booked both this hotel and the jet service for my clients at the end of last year, it’s such a nice touch as it makes Lanai so much more accessible and it’s such a beautiful island with so much to do, especially for the more active amongst you - horse back riding, sailing, snorkelling and hiking are all on offer and in abundance here.

I’ve been shortlisting hotels in Zanzibar this week and I realised it’s been ages since I posted about it - so here’s a little slice of Tanzanian heaven 💙

I feel like Tanzania often gets overlooked but it’s an incredibly beautiful place and the perfect choice for a beach break or as a twin centre with a Safari on the Serengeti.

The best time to visit is June to October and January or February, these are the driest months and typically don’t experience much rainfall.

I feel like it’s been a little while since I’ve said a proper hello, last year was so crazy with over £1.2 million in bookings that I didn’t get chance to introduce myself to my new followers, so hi there and here’s a little bit about me…

✨I moved into the travel industry 4 years ago as I’d had a great experience myself using an independent travel agent and wanted to do the same for other people

✨ I was a Travel Counsellor for just 3 months before Covid grounded nearly every plane on the planet - I’ve definitely had better timing 🙈

✨ My favourite beach destination is Mauritius, favourite holiday I’ve ever done is Sri Lanka, favourite European city is Seville, favourite city in the rest of the world is Hong Kong, and favourite hotel is probably the Four Seasons in Koh Samui closely followed by Vakkaru in the Maldives

✨ The holidays I already have booked for this year are Cyprus, Croatia, Turkey, Spain and South Africa and I’m hoping to sneak another one in for November/December

✨ Booking with me might sometimes cost you a little bit more than booking elsewhere and it might sometimes cost you a little bit less, I don’t charge a fee and regardless of what you’re booking or spending the high level of service remains the same

✨ My biggest ever booking was £166k - no I won’t tell you who for!

Someone asked me yesterday is Mauritius for families - and the answer is YES!

There are so many resorts and hotels that specialise in family holidays and incredibly it’s often cheaper to go to a 5* All Inclusive in Mauritius than it is to do a similar standard of holiday in Greece!

These pics are of the fabulous Trou Aux Biches Beachcomber Resort, one of my personal favourites from my visits to Mauritius, and I’ve included some photos of their two bedroom family suite. There’s lots of resorts here that have similar room set ups meaning space and privacy for the whole family.
