Iban People: Predominantly found in Sarawak, the Iban are known for their headhunting history, intricate tattoos, and longhouse communities.
Insight: The Iban celebrate Gawai Dayak with traditional dances, music, and the making of tuak (rice wine). They also practice weaving, producing the famous pua kumbu
Our last day in Andalucia near our hotel we spent a leisurely day exploring the castle , old town & food festival. some came back for lunch as it had only just opened .
Other did some shopping and had some beach time .
Later we all went out for dinner at a local restaurant with our wonderful guide for the week Rafa
Another Amazing day on the Andalusia holiday , this time in Granada and The Alhambra Palace
World Environment Day 🌍, created by the UN General Assembly, looks to further enhance public awareness of the urgency to preserve and enhance the environment. The date recalls the opening day of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment (Stockholm, 1972), which resulted in the creation of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Each year a particular theme is highlighted such as marine pollution, global warming, sustainable consumption or wildlife crime 🌿.
Since its establishment, Environment day has been utilised to draw attention to the varying environmental difficulties facing humanity. One of the first environment days in 1977 heightened public awareness about the ozone layer and the historically significant Rio Earth Summit (a key precursor to the COP meetings and the Paris agreement) was held on this day in 1992.

At the beginning of July we have our star clipper Mediterranean cruise ⛵️ which has been extremely popular and has sold out! Following closely on, we have our Bilbao and Santander explorer which is sure to provide an authentic Spanish experience 🥘. Going into the beginning of August, we have our Verona opera extravaganza- which is sure to be a unique and amazing experience🎼. Our Grand Canyon rafting experience 🌊 is next and it has also been extremely popular and has sold out! Next, we have our Norwegian Fjords cruise which is guaranteed to provide the most stunning views 🛳. Finally, due to popularity, we have a repeat Verona opera extravaganza trip to end the summer period on a high!
