Occasionally, there are instances where installing curtains can be rather tricky due to space restrictions. In this instance, we were working with an awkward pitched roof so we needed the stack back to be as wide as possible within the confines of the room. The client really wanted to use this gorgeous patterned fabric but we felt it could be overwhelming if used throughout, so we created a sense of calm by using a simple cream linen by for the bulk of the curtains and let the leading edge and pelmet be the focus.

This wonderful colour-rich kitchen, built by , is the perfect antidote to the current cold and wet January weather that we’re experiencing. We love an , and this particular tangerine-coloured one certainly puts a smile on our faces and helps to keep the January blues at bay!

✨ After a busy year we would like to wish all our clients a very happy Christmas and New Year! ✨
As 2025 approaches, we have been reflecting on the past 12 months, as well as looking forward to all the projects we have in store for the new year as we can't wait to realise our clients' dreams for their homes.

We believe that good designs stand the test of time. This kitchen is a wonderful blend of modern design with a classic country aesthetic. It’s certainly a culinary heaven - the perfect place to cook up a Christmas feast on a cold December day.
With this particular kitchen we wanted to ensure that the room would feel warm and light no matter the time of year or weather - lighting is often overlooked but it is vitally important!

These attic bedrooms are certainly cosy with their low ceilings, exposed beams and gorgeous thick curtains. Blues are usually cool colours that don’t often evoke feelings of warmth and cosiness, however, combined with warm whites, creams and dusty rose pinks these bedrooms certainly feel inviting and cosy - the perfect place to hide away and relax during these cold, dark wintery days.

With LED bulbs becoming the norm it is interesting to see how different the light they give is. 2700 Kelvin - often called warm white - is the most like traditional bulbs and is the middle of the image. However for working spaces like kitchens and offices 3000k is often used and we are finding that lower ranges as shown are being used to create cosy and relaxing spaces.

Beautiful traditional weaving of clothes and textiles in the high Andes in Peru. It can take up to a month to weave a scarf from preparing the fleece to dying and spinning the wool. Then weaving the designs from memory passed down the generations. Spot Amanda sporting her new look!

Here comes the sun… 🌞 We loved designing this child’s bedroom with its warm yellow walls and playful wallpaper and curtains.
A warm yellow is a wonderful colour to use when wanting to spark joy and create a feeling of warmth… it brings to mind the glow of sunshine, buttercups and daffodils, and so much more!

Swipe to see the changes we made to our client’s drawing room. Given the original curtains were still in pretty good shape, we had them remade into a pair of curtains for the dining room instead, giving them a new lease of life.

Swipe to see how these two bedrooms were completely transformed to give them a new lease of life. From the headboards, to the curtains, to the artwork, they were given a complete overhaul and now the interiors do these glorious rooms justice with their lovely big windows and high ceilings. We particularly love the fabric that was used for the headboard in the first photo, which seems to be a first favourite with many of our clients.

Swipe to see the difference that some well-designed blinds, a mirror and some de-cluttering can make (to name but a few of the changes made here). 💫 As you can see, the ‘before’ was a rather dark and unloved landing, but with a bit of attention, this landing is now a wonderful, bright space.
