Visited one of my favourite Midsomer locations- The Lee, in Buckinghamshire and it was just a superb crisp Winter day! Also discovered the figurehead of a historic ship with links to a famous shop in London!

Spent an enjoyable morning at Milton’s Cottage and charming village of Chalfont St Peter whilst celebrating the launch of the “Midsomer on the Misborne” trail. All you Midsomer Murders fans should see this delightful little village tucked away in the Chilterns! Duck pond, chalk stream, very interesting museum with peaceful garden, great butchers and deli for a delicious picnic lunch!

Beautiful day out yesterday in “Downtown village” - the sweet little town of Bampton in the Cotswolds. Saw the church and Isobel Crawley’s house. I am really looking forward to seeing the new film Lady Carnarvon has spoken about in her blog.
