The latest Jude Law film that was filmed at Haddon Hall, is showing at the beautiful cinema, opposite a the Tenth House! This is rather important to us and The Tenth House, because The Tenth House was hired as a venue by the production company for 3 month during filming! Today was our first day that we have been empty, so we could finally carry out some maintenance and place little touches, that I have had up my sleeve for a while!

If the weather is anything like it is now, I’d get your seat booked at the banqueting table!

The amazing Wirksworth Wizarding Day is back on Sunday 8th and there’s loads going on.

The Rhubarb Kitchen and Fox & Barker are hosting a fantastic foodie experience at Wirksworth Town Hall.

Tickets can be found by searching “The Great Feast” Wirksworth. Feel free to bring food for the littlies as well have plenty of seating. Drinks available to purchase on the day.

We’re also running a “Guess the weight of the chocolate Niffler” beautifully made by the talented Martin at Taylor’s in Cromford. Closest guess to the correct weight will be announced at 3pm!

Don’t miss out and get drowned by the rain and blown around by the wind. Get yourself to the Town Hall and get scared to death instead (kidding) 😉
