ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHT: CYCLING THE DEATH ROAD IN BOLIVIA ☠️

Death Road in Bolivia! It's something that most of you would have heard of by now; a thin winding mountain road towering high over canyons with waterfalls running over them causing panic amongst drivers and if you fall, certain death! Death road is now used less and less since the introduction of the modern highway, which means that locals have took advantage and started taking people on mountain biking tours from the top to the bottom where you can - kind of safely - experience the terror and the adrenaline of what it's like to travel along the death road ⚠️

THE LOCATIONS OF PERU 📍

Let's have a quick look at some of the best places to visit of Peru and what each of them offer:

- Lima: A very diverse large city on the coast with great outdoor activities and places to surf. Great restaurants and easy to navigate 🧭
- Huacachina: A very sociable oasis close to Ica where you can do the great dune buggy tour 🏎️
- Agua Calientes (Machu Picchu): The beautiful little mountain village of Agua Calientes, this is your base for visiting Machu Picchu and can be reached by train from Cusco! 🚆
- Iquitos: The Peruvian city on the Amazon jungle, from here you can embark on adventures into the famous rainforest 🐍
- Paracas: A small town on the sea surrounded by desert with a large Nazca line nearby and beautiful national parks 🏜️

THE BEST DESTINATIONS OF BRAZIL ARE? 📍

The country on highlight this week is Brazil, if you know me well you will know that this is my favourite country in the world, and if you check my blog you can see some of the reasons why, but here I will be talking about the best destinations to visit whilst you are in Brazil along the coast, separated by north and south 🇧🇷

North Coast -

The north of Brazil is known for being more beautiful but harder to get around and has a more free feel to the infrastructure and day to day life, I can truly say that before I first visited Brazil in 2020, I had no idea of just how captivating this country can be and mostly I felt that whilst travelling the north, here are some of the best places you can visit:

- Itacare - A small surfer beach town, some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen 🏄‍♂️

- P**a Beach - Another small busy beach town 🏖️

- Jericoacoara - A small town located in the dunes of the north, like a portal into another place ⏳

- Morro do Sao Paulo - Not to be confused with Sao Paulo is miles away, a party island off of Salvador 🍾

South Coast -

The south of Brazil is more known for having larger cities and built up areas, although it does have some really beautiful little towns to visit along the coast that will 100% entice you into staying longer than you should! Here are some of my favourite places:

- Rio de Janeiro - The obvious, the best city in the world for me. Beach, mountains, party, energy 🪫

- Ubatuba - A small town with beautiful beaches 🏖️

- Paraty - An old colonial town on the coast 🏚️

- Sao Paulo - A city that gets a bad name but I loved it, good for parties/ events and eating well 🌃

- Santa Catarina (Florianopolis) - A small, gorgeous town close to some beautiful beaches and a nice town area 🏖️

Australia is a huge country with so much variety on each side and from top to bottom so let’s not forget that there is so much more than just the East Coast, I also managed to visit Perth, which I personally preferred and maybe if you want something a little bit different you might too prefer the West Coast of Australia 🤝
