For Cruise Month, I was fortunate enough to be one of the very few lucky agents to go and explore the beautiful Bolette in person when the Fred Olsen. ship docked in Liverpool!
Out of all of the ship visits I have been on this month, I can say without question that this was the one I was most pleasantly surprised by! Fred Olsen has a bit of a reputation to only cater to clientele of a certain age. While they donโt necessarily have kids clubs on board, thatโs not to say itโs not a family friendly ship for a multigenerational getaway.
I was super impressed with everything that Fred Olsen had to offer their clients and was in awe at the standard of everything on board, especially the food! We ate in the main dining restaurant and were served a three course lunch by some wonderful wait staff who couldnโt be more helpful if they tried. The service was excellent and with drinks packages from ยฃ25 per person per night, there is no feeling guilty for enjoying a wine or beer with dinner. Also, if you fancy something a little special, the two speciality dining restaurants are only ยฃ10 per person when booked in advance!
We were able to view many different types of cabins , from singles right the way through to the owners suite, definitely a must do, especially for those world cruises where you want to feel like itโs home from home, the space was just unbelievable!
The gym was on another level with classes and equipment being totally complimentary and fully qualified gym staff to take it. They even have a reduced mobility class for those who just want to do what they can at their own pace! The spa was available at a supplement but still very reasonably priced for what you would get included!
Fred Olsen is only one of two cruise lines that sail from Liverpool so if you want a shorter journey for a no fly cruise, this is the way to do it! If you want more information or want to make a Fred Ol
