We took a private fully guided tour to see Abu Dhabi’s iconic and best-kept secrets.

A visit to the stunning Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque’s. Passing through the Corniche, Emirates Palace Hotel, and Qasr Al Watan or Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum. We visited the Heritage Village a charming fishing village with Bedouin-inspired tents, palm-leaf dwellings, and a typical Arabic souk. The village had an abundance of shops selling spice, handmade soaps, with local tradesmen traditional crafts, such as pottery and metalwork, followed by lunch in a local Indian restaurant. Followed by a trip to a local museum then onto Ferrari World, and the home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Our tour was arranged through Rayna tours, Dubai.

Beachfront Family Thailand Holiday

If it’s pools you’re after, look no further than the Katathani Phuket Beach Resort. It boasts six main pools, and another four for children.

Six seems to be the magic number here, with that many restaurants to choose from as well. The cuisine has a big Thai theme, although Italian and seafood dishes make strong appearances, too.

The resort itself is pretty swanky, with beachfront suites and deluxe rooms to choose from. You’ve got a vanilla-coloured stretch of sand to flake out on, while more energetic activities include kayaking and paddle-boarding.

There are more restaurants than you can count on one hand. Highlights include Fisherman’s Wharf, which is a seafood place on the beach, and the Chanada Royal, for local Thai cuisine. You’ve also got five bars to choose from, four of which offer a light lunch menu as well.
