Our Story

Bryn Awelon is a non smoking 4 star Wales Tourist Board family run Country Guest House situated in open farmland overlooking the picturesque Moelfre Bay We are in set in an excellent location for coastal walking, golfing, fishing, watersports, bird watching and visiting one of the many sandy beaches. All newly decorated rooms have seaviews, LCD/DVD televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and fluffy towels. This little gem is a delight to visit which is why visitors return year and year. There is ample off road private parking Bryn Awelon is ideally situated to explore Moelfre, Anglesey and the whole of North Wales. All bedrooms are en-suite, newly decorated, and furnished with colour TV's and coffee making facilities

There are two Visit Wales 5 Star Holiday Cottages also at Bryn Awelon.

Y Bwthyn is now available for rental. If you are looking for that luxury cottage situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty with magnificent sea views we have it.

Y Bwthyn is a single storey stone cottage with two ground floor bedrooms set in a peaceful tranquil position and furnished to Visit Wales' 5 Star standard. It is ideal for a couple or two couples sharing to rent, all rooms on ground floor level.

There is a large kitchen/diner with spectacular sea views over Moelfre Bay and Penmon which is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer, cooker, hob and microwave. It is fully heated with a wood burning stove for those cold Winter cosy nights in. It also has the benefit of solar panels.

There is a double bedroom en suite with shower and a twin bedroom with a main bathroom next door with bath and shower over the bath. Both rooms have television/DVD. There is a lovely seating area overlooking the sea and Countryside. Parking is private and right outside the property.

Full week bookings for Y Bwthyn are from Saturday to Saturday.

The Cottage (Bryn Awelon Bach) is a 5 Star 2 bedroomed cottage built in the spacious grounds of Bryn Awelon, ideal for a couple or family with stunning views of Moelfre.

The non smoking cottage is now available for rental all year round.

The beautiful Lligwy Beach is five minutes away.

The Cottage sleeps up to four guests and the decor and furnishings are to Tourist Board 5 star standard.

Open plan beamed lounge with rustic oak floor, cottage three piece suite, log effect remote control fire, wall mounted 32" television with freeview/dvd and separate Hi-fi

Fully equipped kitchen / dining room provides all you need for a self catering holiday. The dining table extends to seat six. The traditional style kitchen equipment includes double oven with ceramic hob, microwave, integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

There is also a separate fully equipped utility room with washing machine, dryer and freezer.

The twin bedroom is on the ground floor with a full bathroom with bath and shower. The bedroom also enjoys a wall mounted flat screen TV with DVD.

Outside there is a patio with furniture and barbeque area, ample parking space and use of large private garden.

Full week bookings for The Cottage are from Friday to Friday.

Short weekend breaks are available out of the high season subject to vacancies.
