Nancy’s is a very attractive sunny and spacious cottage tucked away in a quiet location in the heart of the village of Warkworth, just a few metres from the grassy banks of the River Coquet where one can picnic, and just below the historic Warkworth Castle. Warkworth Castle is also a few minutes walk away and you can hire rowing boats on the river or stroll along the river bank. The property has been furnished and equipped to a high standard with wooden and tiled flooring throughout.

Quite literally, a biblical Aurora Borealis display tonight. I really hope you all got to see/photograph this once in a lifetime event.
[Church Hill - Alnmouth, Northumberland]

Note: It's the first time the aurora appeared south from Northumberland in a very long time. Usually it is to the north/north east and on the horizon. This was such an amazing event. Also, I make no apologies for the fact there will be more photos to come ....

This view of Warkworth looking along the River Coquet, must be one of the prettiest night scenes in Northumberland. Especially when there's a little mist in the air.
