✅️TERMS AND CONDITIONS✅️
This is our holiday home, not a business. We are a very friendly & helpful family. We ask that you respect our second home during your stay and that prior to leaving the caravan, it is tidied and left in a clean condition.
All bookings are set to be Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday. Please inform us of the amount of guests, please include adults, children and if you wish to bring a dog (please state breed).
Passes are not included, you will need to purchase them yourself from reception.
*Deposit/Payment
We require a non refundable deposit of £80 or £100 if your booking is within a school holiday to secure your dates. Final balance is due in full 4 weeks prior to arrival, failure to do so will forfeit the holiday unless you have contacted us prior to discuss. Your holiday balance can be paid using a payment plan. We accept payments on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. This can be arranged with myself on a budget that suits you as long as the full balance is paid 4 weeks prior.
A damage deposit (security bond) of £50 is also payable with the final balance before arrival. If the damage deposit is not paid we do reserve the right to withhold the keys until it is. If on vacating the caravan damages are on excess of £50 we will send you an invoice for the exact costs and this is payable within 5 working days.
If you decide to cancel within 2 weeks before your arrival date all monies, with exception of the damage deposit, will be lost.
Any monies paid before 4 weeks of the holiday, with the exception of the deposit, will be refunded by our agreement only on limiting circumstances. We do allow where applicable and available date changes however if the price of the holiday is different your liable to make this payment.
* Check in time is usually 3pm on date of arrival and check out time is 10am on date of departure. If the caravan is ready before 3pm then we will try and provide the keys earlier. This is to ensure that a thorough clean has been carried out inbetween each stay. Keys will be available via a key safe. You will be given the code to this within 48hours of your arrival date.
* Pets are allowed (there is surcharge for animals) however as a general rule they not allowed on any furniture within the caravan.
Please state when booking the type of pet you wish to bring. We do reserve the right to refuse a pet using the caravan. Whilst using the caravan and on site the pet is your responsibility this includes cleaning any mess they may make around the site. The additional charge for pets is to ensure the caravan has an even deeper clean on your departure following a stay with pets.
* Smoking is NOT allowed anywhere inside the caravan this includes in the bedrooms. Please close doors and windows when smoking outside the caravan. We do reserve the right to charge an additional fee if additional cleaning is required due to the smell of smoke within the caravan.
* Overcrowding is strictly forbidden. The maximum number of guest at any one time staying in the caravan is 8 as there is a fold out bed from a sette in the living area. However the size of the caravan the sensible number of guests would be 6. We do reserve the right to cancel your holiday and you will be asked to leave with immediate effect should overcrowding happen. No refund will be given.
* Linen is provided. Towels are not included for showering or swimming, please bring your own. If you wish to you can bring your own bedding, please let me know at time of booking so I can leave beds unmade for you.
Please note any soiled bedding must be laundered within 12 hours of it happening. There is a launderette on site. Where necessary this includes all mattresses, duvets, pillows and covers. We do reserve the right to charge the cost of any professional cleaning to be done to the beds, linen etc if necessary. If the mattress is soiled please let us know straight away so we can arrange for this to be cleaned or a replacement to be bought.
* Kitchen area - please leave the dishes, utensils, cupboards and oven as you wish to find them. If there are any breakages please report them, we understand accidents happen but all we ask is that you are honest so if necessary items can be replaced. This will sadly forfeit your damage deposit depending on level of damage/expense to replace items.
* Please remove wet or soiled footwear or clean your pets paws. This ensures that our floors are kept clean. Should there be stains on the carpets or furniture and additional cleaning is needed we reserve the right to keep your damage deposit. We do provide a brush and hoover for cleaning during cleaning during your stay.
* Gas/Electric - These are included in the price of your holiday however we do operate a fair use policy. We do ask all appliances are turned off when not in use. Should we find that a fair use has been taken advantage of we do reserve the right to charge for the additional usage. Gas is supplied on site so if for some reason it does happen to run out please contact Reception and they will supply more. Please note this can only been done during specific opening hours. We also ask that you inform us that the gas has ran out so that we can also contact the Park to make sure it is refilled. The caravan is fitted with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
*WiFi and Netflix - There is WiFi in the caravan and there is a smart TV with Netflix and all the free view catch up apps installed. Please note that we are not responsible for any signal issues, weather issues affecting the signal or any other Internet/ wifi related issues if it is not 100% as it is supplied by the Park and not ourselves.
* Excessive Noise/Distrubance - please note neither will be tolerated. If for any reason we receive a report of excess noise or a disturnance then you will forfeit the right to staying in the caravan and you will be asked to leave immediately. We will not refund any monies paid and this includes damage deposits. Please respect other guests onsite and be mindful of time. No loud music too late at night.
*Other information
Entertainment and facilities on the park are set by Parkdene not by ourselves we have no control over these. November to March are classed as closed season so please be aware facilities will be limited. There is still plenty to do in and around the local area. PASSES are to be purchased by yourself on the first day of your stay at reception, we hold no responsibility for any issues regarding passes or facilities onsite.
We can not be held responsible for weather, ice, storms, etc. If electric goes off in the park then Parkdene will work with the relevant companies to get this restored as soon as possible.
We do work and have families so if we do not contact you straight away please bare with us and we will get back to you accordingly. Our aim is to help you have an enjoyable holiday please help us to achieve this by following the terms and conditions as outlined above.
They may seems strict but it helps with our aim of a clean, tidy and enjoyable holiday for all.
