I have been a PGA professional on Scotland's Golf Coast for over 20 years now and during this time, i've witnessed thousands of visiting golfers trying to experience the Oldest golf course in the World, often with great difficulty!!
Cradle of Golf Experience Day offers a VIP tour and experience of Musselburgh's Championship courses. During this 27 hole experience, you will follow in the footsteps of golfing pioneers where this amazing game began, where Open championships were contested, helping pave the way to where our game has now grown.
During the experience, you will have your own chauffeur driven car for the entire day, sample some of our traditional food locally sourced and take a journey through time starting with the old links moving to the New Championship course.
Experience itinerary
- Picked up by your driver from your hotel by our executive travel car
- Welcome breakfast at The Musselburgh Golf Club Championship Course clubhouse along with welcome gift pack
- Short drive down to Musselburgh Old Links for 9 holes round the oldest golf course in the World... The Cradle of Golf
- Picked up by your driver and brought back to The Musselburgh Golf Club Championship clubhouse for a traditional Scottish lunch
- Short warm up at our academy where one of our experienced PGA Professionals will be there to offer any help and advice you seek.
- 18 holes round The Championship Course with golf carts included
- After your round, there will be a round of drinks behind the bar waiting for you courtesy of our Head Professional
- Your driver will then take you back to your hotel in comfort
