Christmas in Christchurch
From 1st to 24th December visit a different location every evening for the Christchurch Living Advent Calendar. Enjoy a festive surprise performance at 6:15pm. Visit the website to see the dates and locations, but you won't find out who the performer is until the advent calendar door in opened on the night.
On 2nd December G4 will be performing their Christmas tour at Christchurch Priory from 7.30pm.
The Regent Centre will be showing Christmas with André Rieu 2021 on the 5th, 6th and 12th December.
Also at the Regent Centre you can enjoy the Royal Ballet's The Nutcracker (Live) on 9th December from 7.15pm and Winton Salvation Army with Celebrating Christmas on 10th December from 7.30pm.
Listen to Carols in the Courtyard at the Red House Museum on the afternoon of 12th December.
Over at Highcliffe Castle, enjoy seeing the traditional festive decorations as well as doing some gift shopping on 12th December.
Swing Unlimited Big Band will be performing Christmas classics at Highcliffe Castle on 15th and 16th December.
At the Regent Centre, the Christmas Spectacular will be showing from 18th to 24th December. Bursting with festive delights, this highly acclaimed company will create a magical Christmas treat for the whole family to enjoy.
Between 18th December and 23rd January, pop over to the Red House Museum for Putting On A Show - a free, hands on, family exhibition.
On 22nd December, make your own Yule Star Wreath at the Red House Museum.
The festive season wouldn't be complete without The Snowman. Watch this family classic along with live orchestra and narrator at Christchurch Priory on 23rd December.
FREE PARKING:
Free parking is available on the following dates in Christchurch Town Centre car parks run by BCP Council.
- Thursdays 2, 9, 16 and 23 December, 4pm to 10pm.
- Sundays 28 November and 5, 12 and 19 December, 10am to 6pm.
Free parking is also being offered in some BCP Council district car parks including in Highcliffe on the following dates:
- Saturdays 4, 11 and 18 December, Midday to 6pm.
DISCOUNTED BUS TRAVEL:
On Yellow Buses, you can enjoy unlimited evening travel for £3.50 across the whole Yellow Bus network when you purchase a ‘Buster’s Christmas Cracker’ ticket, which can be purchased from drivers after 4:30pm
Morebus are offering a Christmas Group Dayrider ticket which gives unlimited travel for up to five people for just £5. This ticket is available after 5:30pm on Thursday night during late night shopping and on Sundays in the run up to Christmas, with both bus offers enabling everyone to hop on and off buses and ensure they visit all the essential shopping areas!
