🌍✈️ Celebrate International Day of Families by planning your next family adventure!
Family holidays are why I love travel today. My dad's passion for aviation took us to amazing places, and his love for flying inspired me. From exotic destinations to long-haul flights, travel has always been in my blood.
Here are some incredible places I've visited:
✈Thailand: Bangkok and Phuket
☀️Tip for Bangkok: Visit the Grand Palace early to avoid crowds.
☀️Tip for Phuket: Enjoy the stunning beaches and vibrant night markets.
✈Malaysia: Borneo and Langkawi
☀️Borneo: Seeing the orangutans at Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre was unforgettable.
☀️Langkawi: The beaches are perfect for relaxation.
✈Vietnam:
☀️Tip for Vietnam: Explore Hoi An for its beautiful lanterns and historic architecture.
✈Cambodia:
☀️Tip for Cambodia: Visit Angkor Wat at sunrise for a magical experience.
✈Sri Lanka: Walking over the train track to get to the beach was an adventure. We stayed at the Mount Lavinia Hotel, where they filmed "The Bridge on the River Kwai."
✈Spain: Alicante
Tip for Alicante: Explore the Santa Barbara Castle for panoramic views.
✈Belgium: Bruges for my 18th birthday
☀️Beer and chocolate – what more does a girl want? Bruges is stunning!
✈Qatar: Doha
☀️Stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Doha with a Nobu restaurant nearby – it was a true treat!
Before I joined the RAF, our last family holiday was to Doha. After returning home, Dad and I went on a dad-and-daughter trip to NYC for Christmas shopping. 3 days was too short – there's so much to see! I will go back one day for longer.
Since Dad's passing, Mum and I have kept his passion alive. We've travelled to Cala Galdana in Menorca, Florence in Italy, Kos, and Gran Canaria (Puerto Rico).
🥰Travel isn't just travel; it's education, it's stories for your soul.
