Where's best to go for winter sun? ☀️

With Christmas over, we're staring down the barrel of a long, grey, dark and cold few months. So, if you're anything like us, you'll be craving some vitamin D to see you through until April (or whenever England ever gets warm - maybe more like June?! 😅)

Thankfully, there are plenty of places that serve up sunshine no matter how hot (or not!) you like it. Which of these levels is your sweet spot?

🟡 Mild - high teens
You don't have to travel too far to get some T-shirt weather. The Canary Islands, Malta and Morocco all hover between 17-20C even in the depths of winter. Flight times sit comfortably within 'short haul' which makes these destinations super-accessible. Top picks include the best of the Moroccan surf season at Agadir or topping up on Vitamin D on Gran Canaria's warm, sandy beaches 🕶️

🟠 Warm - low-mid twenties
For temperatures pushing into the twenties, you don't have to travel halfway around the world. Egypt and Dubai both offer fabulous all-inclusive getaways with virtually endless sunshine. Mexico is a great choice for sand & sea with temperatures hitting the mid-twenties along the coast. Snooze under palm trees in Cancun or sip cocktails in beach-side bliss in one of Dubai's stunning beach clubs 🏝️

🔴 Hot - hitting the thirties
To really feel the heat, follow the birds and fly south! Avoiding the end of the rainy season in October, Thailand really comes into its own from November-February, with warm-but-manageable heat ranging from 27-30C. If you want to make sure the mercury will stay above the magic 30 - head to paradise in the Indian Ocean. The Maldives, Seychelles and Mauritius all provide their own slice of tropical getaway heaven. Alternatively, hit the west coast of Sri Lanka for temperatures above 30C every day, with great surf following the sun! 🏄
