Lifeguards on duty at Fistral & Crantock beaches from Good Friday which is so good to know! 👍

It’s that time of year again! The upcoming Easter school holidays will see RNLI lifeguards return to beaches across the southwest. From Friday 29th March to Sunday 14th April, a total of 25 beaches across the region will be patrolled by RNLI lifeguards.

An Easter Trail for all the family - 29th March- 14th April in Newquay. Pick up your clue sheet from the Visitor Centre.

🐰 Calling all Easter Egg Hunters! 🐰

Fun for all the family with Newquay's FREE Easter Trail!

The mischievous Easter Bunny has hidden giant egg posters around town, and it's your job to track them down!

Each clue leads you to a different shop window where you'll find a poster with a special letter. Write down the letters as you find the eggs, then return your completed sheet to the Visit Newquay Tourist Information Centre for an eggcellent prize!

This self-guided Easter trail is a perfect way to entertain the children over the holidays. Explore Newquay's streets, shops and cafes while following the bunny's clues.

The Easter Trail runs from 29th March to 14th April only. Collect your free clue sheet during these opening hours to get cracking on this eggs-tra special adventure!

A circular walk around the UK's surf capital which was transformed from a tiny fishing village with a few thatched cottages when, in order to export ore from the harbour, a horse-drawn tramway was built across Cornwall which later became part of the Great Western Railway.

An iconic spot! Love heading across the back of Fistral Beach from 1 Spinnakers, Newquay, Cornwall and round the coast path to this place. A great spot to stop and admire the view!

I spy with my little eye... 📍The Huer's Hut! One of the most recognisable spots along the coast of Newquay, this is where fishermen would eagerly keep watch for shoals of pilchards, guiding the boats towards a bountiful catch! 🐟 Dating back to the 14th Century, today it's a much loved symbol of Newquay's seafaring heritage.

Another day of live music at the Killacourt this bank holiday weekend. The Killacourt is an open space just off the town centre, overlooking the beaches, so a great place to picnic and have an ice-cream whilst enjoying the sounds!

Can you believe that this beautiful place is just a short walk from the apartment? Top and tail your visit down to the water with a stop-off at The Fern Pit Cafe for some delicious food and drink, lovely people and another beautiful view from their garden. The winding footpath down through their garden to the water's edge is a delight.

Swap the hustle of town for the utter peace and tranquility found at The Gannel ⛵️✨

Pack a book, perch on a bench and enjoy nothing but the sound of water lapping the shoreline as the tide pushes in. Even better, time it at sunset and you'll be in for quite the spectacle 🌅
