MacManLee - we have been fixing your Apple Mac kit in Cornwall for over 24 years now.

We ARE specialists in what we do, we specialise in Apple repair which I hope is why you bring your kit to us.

We now share office space with the mighty Fixbox (Mike) who specialises in phone repairs , again an expert in his field .

And also pcmedic (Sam) who is a windows expert in the same shop.

We are all separate companies sharing the same space at the Fixbox shop in Chester Road so you have a one stop place to bring your repairs and see the relevant expert.

I still don’t touch phones (but Mike does) and I still don’t touch windows computers (Sam does) as I leave that to those experts in their field.

I see so many people now thinking that are experts in everything electronics but sadly that is not the case in the Fixbox shop, we have our honed skills and can apply them to the correct job in hand..

Tomorrow (2nd April) we move into our NEW permanent home.

With a massive collaboration that has been planned for quite some time we are moving in with our close companions Fixbox and PCMedic into the ‘Fixbox Shop’ at Chester Road.

We are treating this as a ‘one stop shop’ for ALL your Apple Mac computer repairs (me), all your iPhone/iPad Repairs (plus much more) with FixBox and all your Windows computer repairs with PCMedic.

We have created a space with ALL the local, independent, completely Newquay based experts to cover ALL of your electronics repairs. Think like’The Repair Shop’ on TV but for modern computer, phone and electronics repair.

Come down and see us and get ‘anything’ electronics repaired.

Client dropped off their MacBook Air yesterday, no backlight.

Taken apart and lots of liquid damage to the display port found and shows up more clearly under the microsocope.

Dont worry, we are on this and doing a chip level repair this week to try to ressurect the unit.

So we had a client drive up from London yesterday who brought in their iMac that had been ‘upgraded’ by an ‘expert’ there.

So, in addition to THEM not transferring their data they didn’t actually reinstall over a dozen screws, removed cables and even left another part completely out on reassembly.

Clients iMac , reopened, Fusion Drive reinstated, backups currently running.

We will then setup the ‘replacement’ drive, migrate all their lost data back and make good. Even reinstalling the missing screws and parts too…

The London shops suggestion when they had no data is to buy some recovery software and try their own data recovery on the old drive… even sending them links to a connector on Amazon.

So the moral of the story is bring your Mac’s to Cornwall for expert diagnosis, repair and upgrades…by an Apple expert of over 25 years…

Well folks , that's it for another year. Massive changes for the business this year with our big premises move and we would like to thank ALL our clients new and old for their continued trust in our services.

25 years this year of fixing Apple kit, going into 26 years next year.

Lots more things planned for 2024 so watch this space.

We are back on TUESDAY 2nd 9-12.30pm and WEDNESDAY 3rd (9.30-5) in January (unfortunately we are away at a funeral on 4th and 5th) so get any kit dropped in when we are back on 3rd) Our fabulous colleagues at FixBox and PC Medic should be happy to take any computers in for us in that short interim period as we have a great working relationship with them covering ALL computer, console, electronics repairs from our base together.
