Kirkbride Farmhouse is large and spacious, it enjoys ever changing panoramic views over the Galloway coastline. Woodburners are in both the garden room and lounge along with plenty of books and games. Large garden with patio area and lockable bike shed. Sleeps 6/7 people, pets allowed. le open plan lounge, kitchen, bedroom in a natural woodland setting. Parking at both properties. Cycle from the doorstep to Galloway Forest Park, which has both mountain biking and walking trails, or just take a stroll along the seashore and enjoy the seabirds. Mossyard beach is just 5 minutes by car, for swimming, rock pools or just building sandcastles. Logan Botanical Gardens and Glenwhan garden, to name but 2 - are well worth a visit. Loads of walking - even from your doorstep. Why not take a day trip to Belfast? Galloway forest Park is designated Dark Skies status - great for star gazing. Laggan is just 5 mins drive with the Gather bistro and lovely views.

We do hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend.

We’ll be moving to our winter hours from today.

We are here six days are week:
☀️Open from 9:30am till 3:30pm, Monday to Saturday.

✅Eat In & Takeaway available.
🍳Breakfast is served from 9:30am until 12pm (midday).
🥙Lunch kicks off from 12pm and food is served until we close.
🍰Snacks, Cakes & Treats are always available.
✅Look out for daily specials too!

We’re always here to brighten up your day so if you’re passing, then do pop by for that special treat. Always very happy to help!

Just a note on overnight road closures between us and Gatehouse of Fleet, please don’t get caught out on the other side if you are taking a trip out….its a long way round!

🚧 Essential resurfacing on the A75 at Mossyard. 🚧

⛔️ Overnight closures will be in place between 8pm and 6am, each night, from Sunday 29th September until 6am on Friday 4th October 2024.

🛠️ Signed diversions will be in operation. Please plan your journey before setting off and allow extra time to travel.

❗️ These works are part of a series of surfacing improvements that will be taking place on the A75 between Gatehouse of Fleet and Newton Stewart this autumn, representing around £1million of investment in the infrastructure of the A75 trunk road.
