Well, what a fantastic two weeks on Norwegian cruise lines Encore! Having cruises many different cruiselines, I was intrigued to know how Norwegian faired against them all…..I was not disappointed at all! In fact the complete opposite. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was outstanding the staff all amazing, the ship had something for everybody and the entertainment was one of the best that I have seen! the New Year’s Eve party on the top deck was absolutely outstanding. The speedway track was so much fun and the laser tag was a big hit with the whole family on the last day. Full recommendations for the speciality dining and the Teppanyaki .I have booked myself and my family back on a NCL ship at New Year so now starting to build up my points with Norwegian 😊

So after spending 2 weeks in Spain, I thought I would give an honest review of my experience of life on holiday here during the pandemic...
The hardest thing I have found is that masks have to be worn everywhere, even walking to your car, down the street, to the beach or restaurant etc and in the intense heat it is stifling. It is very strict here in Spain and is an absolute must.
The law changed whilst we are here and you cannot travel in a car with more than 1 other person from another household and smoking in public places has been banned.
You can sit at a bar outside with other people without your masks but if you then walk home or to your car or the toilet you must wear it. You can go to the beach wearing your masks and stay for the recommended 4 hours without it. The bars close early and are in silence as not any music.
There are lots of different places and resorts some with more flexible attitudes or rules but essentially it is all in place for the safety of everyone and to prevent the spread. It has been a very different experience and even when we went river rafting and go karting we had to wear masks.
I am very lucky to have even got a break in this fantastic weather and cannot comment on other countries as yet but wanted to give an honest review as holidays are much needed and saved for by many people so regardless of where are offering last minute deals etc it is important to know how different your holiday may now be.
I hope the honest review is helpful to understand some of the changes. 😊
