HAPPY 140th BIRTHDAY GWYNEDD! 🥳🎈🎂🎉 This weekend we celebrate one of our most favourite engines, gorgeous Gwynedd, with a mini steam gala. And you’re all invited. 🤩

Gwynedd is our Penrhyn Quarry Hunslet engine, made in 1883, doyenne of the Fen Railway. True to form, Gwynedd will be in service all weekend and we’ll be running extra steam services too.

All three of our Narrow Gauge Passenger trains will be running, with multiple trains on the Fen line, including freight train displays. (subject to engine availability).

And making a special appearance on Sunday is marvellous Martello.

All of this alongside our wonderful Gallopers, Museum and Gardens - its going to be a party you won't want to miss!

And it’s all included in our standard admission price too.

Join us this Saturday and Sunday to give a very grand dame a celebration to remember! Happy 140th Birthday Gwynedd! ❤️

It's our final Acle Summer Food and Drink Market this Thursday 3 to 7pm. Please do come along and support it if you possibly can. A big thank you to all the fantastic businesses who have joined us this year. Everyone tells me how friendly all the stallholders are and this creates a great atmosphere. We have pizzas, and a BBQ this week as well as a bar. We also have jams, fruit, veg, local honey, eggs, sweets, cakes, pastries, savoury bakes, flapjacks, ciders, beer apple juices and much more.
