We believe Social Media is a great way to keep you informed about our service and to provide a forum in which all our customers can ask questions and obtain information from us. We therefore ask for the help of all users in refraining from using offensive language and ensuring content they post is appropriate when contacting us. In return we aim to provide a friendly, efficient and useful service

with live updates on our service from our Twitter feed during staffed hours as well as ensuring our users comments are heard within Greater Anglia. We currently monitor our Social Media streams between 06:30 and 20:30 Monday to Friday. If you’d like a response to a query, please let us know using our Twitter Feeds ( or ). We monitor posts to our page but do not routinely reply directly to these. Our news Twitter account is monitored from 09.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday only, not including Bank Holidays. Because Social Media is a public forum there are some topics we don’t discuss (for example issues around specific members of staff). If you’d like to raise these you’re welcome to do so via our Customer Relations Team. We hope users will respect this but we do reserve the right to block and report comments that are obscene, indecent, libellous or threatening to other users or the Social Media team. Please stick to the topic of the post when joining the conversation. We also ask that you do not spam or deliberately disrupt a conversation. Users who choose not to comply with this will receive a warning and where we feel it is appropriate we may remove access to posting and commenting on all our Social Media feeds and delete comments. Our Social Media streams are run for our users so if you have ideas for improvements or new ways we can use Social Media to have a positive impact we’d be very happy to hear from you. Are you looking for a volunteering opportunity? We are seeking 'Station Adopters' for selected rail stations in Essex, Hertfordshire and Greater London to help us drive improvements for the benefit of the local community.

Stations available to adopt are: Brimsdown, Enfield Lock, Lea Bridge, Meridian Water, Northumberland Park, Ponders End, Tottenham Hale, Stansted Airport, Stansted Mountfitchet and Waltham Cross.

We were delighted to recognise the best achievements of the last 12 months from amongst our 330-strong team of volunteer station adopters at the Station Adoption Awards, held on Friday at Ipswich Town Football Club. Awards included Best Station, Best Adopter Group, Environmental and Innovation Award, and Community Involvement Award. Our volunteers do amazing things to improve their local rail stations for their communities and we are so grateful to each and every one of them. Thank you Station Adopters for everything you do!
