Original Volunteers has developed out of our passion for volunteering. We believe that together, we can make a difference - and that volunteering abroad is a brilliant way of helping people and animals that are in need of assistance. Your age and your background don't matter - whether you're an ex-pop star or an admin assistant, everybody's equal once they get off the plane. The time I spent with the local children at nursery schools, orphanages and at local youth centres was so special and reminded me how lucky I am to be loved by my family and to appreciate everything I have and to never take things for granted.
