The beautifully restored and refurbished Georgian Jug & Glass Cottage (completed Christmas 2013) has accommodation for 5: a master bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with twin beds and a third small bedroom for one adult or a child. The property has a large enclosed garden, with a stone patio, outdoors furniture for alfresco dining, outbuildings (which could be used for storing bicycles)

and, if you want a break from cooking, there is the village pub and restaurant, quite literally, next door! If you’re happy to stay in and self-cater, there is a galley-style kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge (inc. freezer compartment), ample work-surfaces and cupboards, plus an old-style pantry. There is a separate wooden-floored dining room at the front of the house and an oak-beamed, fully carpeted lounge with sofa and armchairs as the main reception room. There are electric heaters throughout, plus a wood-burner built into the lounge fireplace. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs as is the bathroom that has a modern ‘P-shaped’ bath incorporating a fixed overhead shower.
