We are hiring! Come and join our team as a Bus Shelter Technician working from our Warrington Depot!

Job description
You will be a key member of staff working predominantly alone ensuring our bus shelter and advertising sites are in excellent condition (maintained, clean, tidy & weed-free) for the general public to enjoy.

What you'll be doing...

You will have access to a Bus Shelter Cleaning vehicle and tablet to record all Bus Shelter cleans currently located across Warrington, Blackpool & Telford.

You will clean the bus shelters and advertising panels using equipment provided, located in the rear of your company vehicle.

You will also be responsible for maintenance and repairs typically attending emergency call-outs (when necessary) to replace glazing, making sure the site is safe for public use (training will be provided by our current Bus Shelter Technicians based in Nottinghamshire).

Alongside this, you will be responsible for installing paper advertisements inside the advertising panels on shelters currently located in Warrington. This would involve preparation & installing on average 100 posters every two weeks. You will not be required to work away from home. Your hours of work will be flexible Monday – Friday.

You must be prepared to:

Work in all weather conditions and be comfortable with working at height (podium height only) undertaking reasonable lifting duties.

Be able to work on your own initiative and work to tight deadlines when necessary. You will be working unsupervised and be away from the depot for the majority of the day.

Have the ability to adapt and work with other members of staff from time-to-time

Be flexible to suit business needs which may include some out of hours/callouts at evenings, weekends or Bank Holidays.

Have a full clean Driving Licence

Be competent in the use of hand tools and power tools.

Be able to operate a tablet to digitally record each Bus Shelter clean in order to maintain an audit trail for each site. You will be responsible for identifying and communicating back to the office any additional information of relevance to the current state and condition of all Bus Shelters and associated products at each location

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year

We are hiring, come and join our team as a Street Furniture Installer working out of our Mansfield Depot.

Working Nationwide as part of a 2-man gang
Ground work experience (essential)
Driving License (essential)
New Roads Street Works Act (NRSWA) (Preferable but not essential - would offer training to achieve qualification as elements of the job would involve working on Public Highways)
A basic knowledge in the use of tablet computers/smart phones would be preferable
Responsibility for building, installing, maintaining & repairing all types of street furniture including Bus Shelters, canopies & walkways.
Clearing the ground in preparation for tarmac/concrete plinths
Operating machinery associated with ground works
Laying concrete foundations
Tarmac & block paving reinstatement
Installation of kerb edging and ACO drainage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Working Monday to Friday
Weekend availability

Experience:
