A few of my latest finds, all going up for sale in the coming week!! Sooooo tempted to keep the gorgeous bread bin but until we move house I don't have the space 💚 these are all fresh to market from house clearances on my travels. I've had the best afternoon rifling through new stock for processing it all ready to list!! How about these amazing decanters! All for sale and all have their stoppers. The blue ones are Empoli, Italy, the green one is Dabs, Portugal and the amazing vaseline glass bottle is pretty illusive in terms of research but it's a show stopper for sure! This sneaky lil number was hiding in a local charity shop, as part of a Christmas display, with a life sized Santa, sat on it. I glimpsed the spindle back as I walked past and once I'd done my shop I asked the cashier if I could have the chair and he said no because it's for the display. I thought he was joking due to it having a price on it so I persevered and he said he didn't realise Santa's previous chair had been sold so he would let me have this one and not price the next! Alas it's home safely for the princely sum of £5. Not bad for a circa 1920s bentwood fischel chair. Now to find a corner of my home to squeeze it in.

Thanks to our darling two year old Betty, who seems to enjoy a 6am start of late, I've been awake with the sparrows. Luckily she's off to nursery today so I can enjoy a morning cuppa in peace whilst I continue listing my latest treasures.
My website shop has had a little design revamp and I've listed a brand new "Christmas" category which is already proving popular. Link is in my bio if you'd like to check it out.
This amazing 1950s Paico starburst clock was found in a recent house clearance. I've given it a good clean and wound it as it's still got it's original wind up mechanism which works perfectly. It will be available on the website very soon! Xx

So yesterday, I mentioned I was heading to a house clearance. This became one of my favourite clearances which I'm still buzzing from. The home belonged to a lady who reached the grand old age of 100 years old. ❤️

The house belonged to her and before her it belonged to other members of her family. From the outside, it was very unassuming. From the second I stepped inside it showcased the most fantastic wallpaper in every room, period fixtures and fittings including lights, picture rails, curtains, carpets, doors and cabinets. It was untouched for years. Simply because the lady owner liked it that way and was very protective of it and its contents.

The granddaughter who showed me round is still sorting so hopefully I'll get another opportunity to visit soon but to hear all the wonderful stories attached to the home and the visits she shared with her nan was just heartwarming. I'll pop some photos of the papers on my stories for you all to drool over!

Good morning from me, more florals to brighten your morning whilst I get ready to attend a house clearance. Hopefully I'll find more treasures as I have a stack of beautiful orders to be dispatched tomorrow.

In other news we are trying to sell our house to purchase a character property within our same school catchment (so not far). It's been a dream of ours since we first moved in together as we nearly completed on the most beautiful Victorian property a few years ago but the sellers dropped out before we completed. We ended up making do with a 1960s built home but as much as we like living here and have the most wonderful neighbours we're still pining after the dream.

We've spent the weekend potting plants and weeding the driveway to give our home a bit of curb appeal. Thankfully not too much to faff with inside, just the usual cleaning and tidying up after three children and a pooch. The house we had our eye on has sold unfortunately but I'm a big believer in what's for us will be so it takes the pressure off for now whilst we try to get in a sold position.

Here's a cosy corner of my home which features my favourite florals.💐 They're something I will always have in stock whether it's in painting, print, ceramic or textile form.

There's been lots of gorgeous florals, quirky vintage and antiques dispatched this week ready for multiple TV and film production filming. Recent sales to film sets include 28 Years Later featuring Cillian Murphy, Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes, CC Emily featuring Angourie Rice and Spike Fearn and others which are currently top secret. Ooh err!! That part of my job I find hugely rewarding as I eagerly await their release so I can try to catch which scenes feature my items.

Current mood 🥶 brrrrr *hibernation season*

Walter has his priorities set perfectly right today. If I could be cocooned on the sofa with a hot water bottle today, snuggled up with him, I would. Alas, it's Monday, which means order packing and photography for me.

That's nothing to sniff about though! I'm hugely grateful for the stack of beautiful orders I have awaiting to be wrapped and I'm quite excited to photograph some pretty gatherings of stock for you lovely bunch.

I'd like to say I'm looking forward to chomping down some homemade gf coffee cake during all this but I made that wonderful salvation of a cake last Wednesday evening, which means it was demolished within two days thanks to a rather happy family of cake lovers. Tea ☕ will have to suffice.

When it comes to vintage florals, in any form, I don't think I'll ever get enough. These stunning cottage core 1930s-1950s chalkware floral plaques are hugely attractive and would situ well on a gallery wall. I've even saved one back as a keeper as they're just too charming not to. 💐

A special find recently, these sweet chocolates are complete with contents, unopened. One owner from new, these were discovered as part of a house clearance with some other treasures coming soon.

The beautiful parrot in original cage design packaging was made in Czechoslovakia for Nunney Castle Chocolates Ltd in Surrey, England. The three other bird chocolates were all made by Sarotti in Tempelhof, Berlin, Germany which first opened it's doors in 1913 before it merged with Nestlé.

This fabulous collection will be listed today on eBay auction so any interest please message me for the link.

Honey Picked specialises in sourcing a varied mix of weathered and worn antiques, vintage collectibles and retro kitchenalia, as well as refurbishing and sympathetically restoring quality furniture pieces for you to enjoy for years to come. New stock arrives weekly so please contact me if you are searching for anything specific and I'll do my best to help source items for you. I have over ten years experience in dealing in antiques, furniture and homewares. This includes restoring, painting, upholstering and upcycling items so they can be put back to use. I sell an eclectic mix of items which I source myself from across the UK and from international dealers.

I have background experience in graphic & web design, marketing and upholstery. I have a passion for all things creative, design, crafts and hands on. I enjoy hunting trips near and far to source a variety of items from a mix of eras. I have a UK wide and international customer base which varies from private buyers to wedding and events hire, photographers, musicians, interior designers, retail outlets and the occasional celebrity.

Honey Picked Vintage is based in Hinckley, Leicestershire which is central to the Midlands, UK. I currently work from home but offer viewings by appointment as I predominantly sell online or at local fairs. I offer postage on most smaller items, for larger items such as furniture I offer collection or courier service (please see 'Postage').
