We are Canoe Oxford, a volunteer run SUP, kayak and canoe club based on the Thames. All are welcome!! All year
We offer courses and paddle days for non-members.

We run courses and trips through out the year - though a bit limited at this time due to Covid. There are two groups in the club :

- Dons for young people from 9+
- Bridge for everybody else including families. Club nights are:
April to October
- Wednesdays Dons 6.00 - 9.00 pm
- Thursdays Bridge 6:00 - 9.00 pm
- Weekends Open to all (scheduled - see website)

October to March

ar weekend day trips, occasional night paddles and scheduled tours or whitewater course visits. These are by arrangement as we need minimum numbers to be viable. These are usually Monday and Thursday evenings or Saturday. We run several trips throughout the year for members both local paddling and further afield. last year we took a group to Scotland and Wales and previously Norway and the French Alps.

We had the most amazing two day paddle last weekend (Jul 13-14). Wallingford to Mappledurham, camping over at pangbourne. Beautiful stretch of the Thames. Great campsite

This form is an insurance requirement of PaddleUK and Oxford Canoe and Kayak Club for young people to take part, temporarily, in club activities (no more than three). OCKC have a youth section. We meet Wednesday evenings 1800-2000 at the Riverside Centre Oxford.

This week's Thursday eve paddle was to Castle Mill Stream. Finally the weir gate was closed allowing us to get up to Oxford Castle 😀

Finally the evenings are lighter and the flow on the Thames has reduced enough for us to commence our Thursday evening paddles again. Winter has been long dark and very wet 😄

Club Christmas do. No paddling today due to high water flows, but lovely catch up. Great food and a bit of festive music too
