What an amazing first day here!

A quick trip down to the beach which obviously resulted in Georgia getting very wet very quickly! A delicious pizza from the Trevone Beach Stores & Cafe which we enjoyed on the beach. And then to top it off we were treated to a beautiful sunset!

Time to relax and enjoy our time here in Trevone Beach, Cornwall.

Kohilo is a perfect retreat with sea views and direct access to a footpath to the beach, a 5 minute walk. A single prize in our Christmas Raffle this year, all profits go to the Village Hall Building fund which currently stands at £84,500 and we need to raise £190,000 to rebuild the rear hall. This hall, where we hold most events, is in a very bad state so

One of our favourite activities when we are in Trevone is to coasteer from to Harlyn. We used an experienced guide to help us as it can be deadly if you are inexperienced or don't know the area. There are several local companies which offer experiences like this - we highly recommend giving it a go next time you come to Trevone.

This miserable weather makes us wish we were back enjoying the sunshine at The Pig. We enjoyed a rare lunch out whilst Granny babysat 👶 and had an incredible meal in a beautiful location 💑❤️. The BBQ Piggy bits are to die for 🐷🐷

Useful reminder on what to do if you’re caught in a rip current.

Are you visiting the beach during the school summer holiday? 🏖🍦

Please be aware of the hidden danger of rip tides – they can occur anywhere and catch even the most experienced swimmer out. 🏊‍♀‍

If you are caught in a strong current try to stay as calm as possible, raise you hand and shout for help. If you can’t get help, try and swim parallel to the beach until you are out of trouble and then swim to shore.

If you get into trouble at the beach or along the coast, call 9⃣9⃣9⃣ and ask for the Coastguard.
