We are Del and Ade and we are the owners of an 8 berth (sleeps 7) van in Devon bay Hoburne holiday park, which is situated in Goodrington between Brixham and Paignton. The rooms consist of a double, twin, single and double sofa bed and it has all you need for a comfortable holiday experience including a washing line and picnic table. The park itself has both indoor and outdoor pool, basketball cou
rt, small play area and hosts events in the summer including film nights and sporting events on the big screen. There is a small shop and launderette on site but supermarkets, KFC, Greggs and McDonald's within a 5 minute drive. There is a bus that comes through the site which takes you to Torquay and offer good deals on passes for families, also dog friendly. On the main road, buses run all through Torbay and surrounding with trains and buses from Paignton to other towns, beach resorts and major cities such as Exeter and Plymouth. On the main road approximately 10/15 mins walk from the park is a co-op and a chippy, 2 Chinese takeaway aways and a place to get burgers, pizza etc. Goodrington beach is another few minutes down the road which has a dog friendly section all year round, plus a pub (dog friendly), cafes, an aqua park, watersports and other family activities. Paignton is more your old school seaside resort with a pier and zoo. You can also take multiple varying boat trips from Paignton most of the year. Torquay is 9 miles away and not only offers the seaside but entertainment in their theatres including pantomime and concerts. You have the Dartmouth steam railway which at Christmas has the most beautiful lights train experience running which we highly recommend. Wargevan is family owned and is used by us and members of our family so is a comfortable place for you and yours, we do not accept large single s*x groups sorry. We are open feb-dec with fair rates throughout. We offer payment plans arranged at the time of booking. We have DVDs and books and the TV has a USB port for amazon sticks but you will need to run it through personal hotspot.
