My wife kes has been putting all her paper work together other the last month or so to get indefinite leave to remain, what that means is her Australian visa to stay in uk needs updated and today we had a biometric certificate done in Edinburgh and all the boxes are green. So time for some fun and de stress never been down the east coast before from Edinburgh to Newcastle so exploring time for a pint and GT.

I just had the most amazing two days with Peter and Mal who I met on mull charters and wanted to do golden eagles so with special permission on private land we got to spend hr watching this pair of eagles, hopefully when I get Peter's footage I can share it.
For know I took this with my phone.
We are know closed for some much R&R till 23 march.

Finally we are so very close to finishing sink drain to sort out and fit draws , and finish wiring up extra light and underfloor heating, all tho the new towel radiator is seriously putting some heat out.
Back to the golden eagles tomorrow we had a fantastic day with them today doing there dancing amazing flying, hopefully get some vid of them tomorrow.

We are running this very exciting new tour this year, with mull charters we are running wildlife by land and sea .
The tour will comprise of a road tour in the morning where we can visit several wildlife territories for otters golden and white tail eagles, hen harries that's just for starters then you have the spectacular back drop of mull , then in the afternoon we join mull charters for a trip on lady Jayne as we explore wildlife by boat.
We can organize for some parties to be picked up from Craignure ferry terminal.
This gives you the chance to visit from Oban no need to bring the car.

We have put a tour together where you spend the morning by land looking at wildlife, and then we join mull charters in the afternoon for there amazing trips on the water.

Today was the time to shave of beard and have a day of from bathrooms and gardening. So looking for golden eagles can some times be challenging we gave in and headed to the old post office for a warming up drink and soup, pip as you can see needed drying of and covered in mud typically that's just after I spent the afternoon cleaning car out.
It's only mud.

Time to dust off the bins and see where everything is hiding.
Well I can say the otters where been very social today and we had a fantastic time with mum and 2 kits , two dog otters and another mum and kit. And of course the customary heron. When the sun came out the light was fantastic, but the rain showers keep you on your toes.

It's that time of year when I get the great job of helping mull charters refurbish of lady Jayne. As you can see weather is cold but sunny today so doors open it's all hands on sanders .
You never realize how big a boat it till it's in a massive shed and you are stood under her.

I am in the middle of bathroom renovation so haven't been out and about much but I had Australians looking for a tour and this got me onto salty crocodiles this is a pet at the back of a pub in Northern Territory near Dundee beach and this was feeding time. This was a fishing trip I did back in 2018 .

I stepped in for Blair today at mull charters today. fantastic day for Gausts . This is compo doing what he is renowned for by far my favorite eagle.

What a fantastic day helping out on mull charters today the best days weather we have had all year. Wild mull tours have plenty of spaces next week.

As we travel round mull we see the plantation forests. this last month I have been showing guests the machine cutting it down and today I managed to film them . I do have to explain this is not deforestation, this is plantation forests I think most of this timber is for paper, and we use that every day with our daily constitutions. Anthony fantastic tour today great crack with them .

After we did the change other it had finally stopped raining so we took the chance of walking to McKinnon cave. It’s a tad boggy I was getting quite a bit of resistance from the bride . Kes made it to the cliff top, as pip and I descended to the shore line. My timing was not perfect as tide was coming in fast but we made it.

We are having some very small bates this one sitting around how cool to see one so close.
