We made this plaque for a memorial bench for young Byron a few years ago to help give the family somewhere to sit, feel close to and reflect on what could have been for a life so young.
Beautiful, fitting and strangely heartwarming to now see it as one with nature.

30 Years of making coffins and it’s the first time being asked to craft one out of English Oak (1st Picture) as opposed to the industry standard of American Red Oak (2nd Picture).
Certainly comes with its own unique characteristics 🤔🤔

Time of year again where we donate £200 to charity on behalf of all our Funeral Director customers and suppliers in Lieu of sending Christmas cards.
This years charity is Derbyshire Asbestos Support Team chosen by Kodi, whom as you will see by his statement is something currently very close to him and his family.
Kodi has been with us for 18 months and for the Funeral Director customers amongst you reading this, Kodi is the main man that makes all the Ashcaskets and Plot markers to the excellent standards you’ve come to expect.
