This christmas why put money in the pockets of big firms? as that gives them the ability to set the rule + prices and to make life more expensive for us all!

When you are looking to book a in use the ''locals'' or at least try them first and help support the smaller businesses so we can help to keep prices lower and to keep money in the city!

The ability to get a taxi in Plymouth at busy times is getting hard because people are using the big 3 cab firms only and this mean less cabs on our roads and rising prices for customers.

We again have had our busiest weekend, and week after week we are becoming more busy.

To move forward we could do with 1 or 2x8 seater taxis and drivers and 2-5 part time local/long distance drivers.

Our LONG DISTANCE & Airport service is simple, just go on to one of our websites www.TheCabApp.co.uk or www.AlfaCarsPlymouth.co.uk and click the nice picture with the aeroplane on and book away.
(Remembering you need to set the pickup time to 24hrs or more in advance)

Our ''CabApp'' INSTANT taxi App is going great and the idea in the future is to have 20-50 cars available in Plymouth working all times and cars available all over Devon & Cornwall, as going by the conversations I have on the phone and in the car, people struggle to get a cab in Plymouth and all over Devon & Cornwall, but to do this we need DRIVERS & Operators to work with us on the CabApp.

Drivers can work for us and any other firm at the same time and all you need to do is to send us your information to - [email protected] and as soon as this is done we will send you a PIN within 24hr to login with.

Drivers who join us over the next few months will only ever pay 5% office fees, for life, as long as they are on the system for 20hrs per week and dispatch themselves to 80% of the jobs sent to them within 10 minutes.

Operators in Plymouth, Devon & Cornwall can have their cars on the CabApp for either a fixed price or for 5% or we can also build a full CabApp system for operators and licence the name at a yearly rate.

I ask our new customers to bear with us as we are under pressure at times and I would ask you all to check the availability on the App! If you look at the top of the map it will tell you how long the current wait is on a taxi. Also on the second screen we do leave operational messages in ''RED'' such as today - FULLY BOOKED until 8pm :(

Last night we took over 500 calls for a Taxis in Plymouth!

We only have 5 drivers ATM but the more people who use the CabApp the more that drivers will come so we can service your needs.

The is a new service with the aim of providing quick and affordable transportation to customers while allowing drivers to earn more. Here's a breakdown of our key points:

Aim:
• The CabApp's main goal is to offer fast and affordable taxi services to a wide range of customers.
• We strive to achieve this by using a user-friendly app and adopting a low operational cost model.
• Our unique approach includes allowing other taxi operators to work on our platform and utilising AI to match the right car to the customer, with the aim of providing affordable taxis efficiently.

Challenges:
1. We have successfully produced a working model within the legal framework of taxi licensing.
2. Attracting both drivers and customers is a critical challenge. Without drivers, customers won't use the app, and without customers, drivers will leave.
3. We aim to keep the platform sustainable, ensure drivers' incomes grow, and reduce customer wait times.

Time Frame & Sustainability:
• The project started in in May 2023 with a focus on cost-saving and building a system without debt.
• The CabApp became operational in September 2023, available through the internet, Google Play, and the App Store.

• We plan to continue improving and growing the system throughout 2023 and aim to have 50 cars on our platform in Plymouth by the end of September 2024. Additionally, we plan to deploy the CabApp in two other larger towns in or .
