Special mention to Sandbanks Beach, which is one of only two beaches in the whole country to have scooped the award every year for 37 years, making it one of the best beaches in the world ❤️☀️

Poole really is a very special part of the world! ☺️

Across the whole of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, the destination is celebrating a huge combined total of 26 Awards - 12 Blue Flags and 14 Seaside Awards! 🤩⁠

Sandbanks jetty ferry’s to Brownsea Island are being reinstated which will make access to Brownsea Island do much easier and more cost-effective. I can highly recommend a day trip to the nature reserve to walk around the island and spend some time relaxing on the beaches…so peaceful and remote…a fabulous way to escape and recharge.

With the National Trust now running its own ferry from the jetty at Sandbanks, it’s hoping to encourage more people to explore Brownsea Island in Dorset.

Our Sandbanks beach hut is on the ground floor of the large patio near the salt water sauna as marked in this photo below. Bookable by the day / week…the council no longer do daily or weekly bookings of huts. It also has 4 body boards, 2 bookable SUPs and a variety of kids wetsuits available along with plenty of sand toys and ball games. The volleyball courts are right in front of the hut too. This is a holiday hut for active sun and sea lovers! Please note that you cannot sleep overnight in this hut.
