Day 1:
We depart our local area and make our way to London Gatwick to board our flight over to Guernsey. Upon our arrival we will be met by our transfer coach to take us to our hotel Le Pommier arriving in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 2:
After breakfast we make our way to board our ferry over to the second smallest channel island – Sark where upon our arrival we will be met by a horse-drawn carriage, the islands vintage form of transport for a memorable 1 hour tour of the island. Following quaint rural lanes and soaking up the tranquil atmosphere whilst taking in the sea-views that stretch to the shores of the mainland France and learning about the Islands history this tour will leave you with some beautiful memories of this enchanting island. After our journey we return back to Guernsey by ferry arriving at our hotel in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 3:
After breakfast we board our coach for a half day guided tour of Guernsey where we will be visiting the “The Little Chapel” possibly the world’s smallest chapel renowned for its magical mosaics and beautiful exterior and interior which are coated in seashells, pebbles and broken china and “Pleinmont Point” a German built naval observation tower. After our guided tour we make our way to Sausmarez Manor and Gardens- one of the islands historic houses. Here we will enjoy a guided tour of one of America’s finest Colonial architectures whose rooms bear witness to generations of the Sausmarez family and enjoy a stroll around the idyllic gardens, composed of woodlands, lakes and striking sculptures. After our time in this magnificent Manor we return back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 4:
After breakfast we depart our hotel and begin our day with a visit to Castle Cornet and it’s museums for a guided tour where we will uncover the rich history of this 800 year old castle which guards the harbour of St Peter Port – Guernsey’s main harbour and be able to soak up the spectacular panoramic views over the port itself. After exploring the Castle we will have some free time in the charming town of St Peter Port with its cobbled streets, blending history, excellent restaurants and local shops. After our visit we then make our way back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 5:
After breakfast we board our flight and sadly say goodbye to the Channel island of Guernsey with fond memories of both Guernsey and Sark. Once we arrive back in London Gatwick we board our coach and make our way back to our local area.

Day 1:
We depart our local area and make our way to Dover to board our ferry over to Calais. Upon arrival in Calais we continue our journey to our hotel The Van Der Valk Hotel Breukelen stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops and arriving at our hotel in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 2:
After breakfast we make our way to Keukenhof Park to see “The Greatest Flower Show on Earth”. Here we will encounter a spectacular array of colour displays and impressive blooms that spread throughout the 32 acre themed gardens. 7 Million bulbs are planted in the autumn by 40 gardeners to make sure the beautiful displays are ready to wow us in the springtime! After our free time in the park we make our way back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to
refresh before our evening meal.

Day 3:
After breakfast we make our way to Volendam “The Pearl of Zuiderzee” where we will have free time to explore the pretty architecture and well looked after streets of this quaint little fishing town. Take a stroll along the promenade, admire the quaint little shops or enjoy a coffee in one of the many café’s the choice is endless and if you are lucky enough you may even see one of the local’s dressed in Volendam’s traditional costume. After our free time we end our day with a visit to Simonehoeve, a cheese and clog factory where we will have ample time to discover how cheese and clogs are made. If you are brave enough you can even have a try at walking in a pair of clogs or if not perhaps enjoy a pastry and a coffee in the onsite restaurant. After a fun packed day we return back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 4:
After breakfast we depart The Van Der Valk Hotel Breukelen with cherished memories of our visit to the Dutch Bulbfields and the quaint harbour town of Volendam and make our way to Calais to board our ferry back to Dover. From Dover we then continue our journey back to our local area stopping enroute for comfort and refreshment stops.

CORNWALL

This exciting Springtime break begins with a visit to one of Cornwall’s premier attractions – The Eden Project – the world’s largest indoor rainforest and continues with a visit to the historical site of Bodmin Moor Jail to unlock some of Cornwall’s most darkest history. A visit to Port Issaac will also give the opportunity to spot some of the casting scenes for the popular series of “Doc Martin”. A perfect way to enjoy the Springtime!

After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to one Cornwall’s premier attractions – The Eden Project where we will have a full day to explore and experience the sights and smells of the world’s largest rainforest in the Rainforest Biome, and walk amongst the orange and lemon trees and calming fragrance in the Mediterranean Biome as well as discovering the wide variety of plants in the 30-acre Outdoor Garden. After our day of exploring we make our way back to our hotel arriving in plenty of time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.

Day 3:
After breakfast we depart our resort and make our way to the historical site of Bodmin Jail to unlock some of Cornwall’s most darkest history where we will discover the rich and darkly fascinating legacy of the Georgian and Victorian crime and punishment. Once we have broken out of jail we continue our journey to the traditional fishing town also known as Port Wenn – the home to the TV Series Doc Martin. Here we will have free time to spot where some of the scenes were filmed such as Doctor Ellinghams House , Mrs Tishell’s chemist and Bert’s restaurant or take a walk down one of the narrowest alleys in the UK known as both Temple Bar and Squeezy Belly Alley. After our time in Port Isaac we return back to our hotel arriving in time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.

Day 4:
After breakfast we will have a free day to enjoy the vibrant seaside town of Newquay. With its beautiful golden sandy beaches, underwater walkway at Blue Reef Aquarium with its tanks of pufferfish, sharks and rays and a high street dotted with specialist local shops, national names and boutiques. Newquay has it all! After our free day we will have plenty of time to relax, refresh and enjoy our evening meal.

Day 5:

After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to the Spectacular Elan Valley sometimes known as the “Welsh Lake District” for a guided tour of the 70 square miles of dams, reservoirs and rugged Welsh landscape finishing at the Elan Visitor Centre set in a fantastic location against a spectacular backdrop of a Victorian Stone dam. Here we will be able to enjoy a cup of coffee or a spot of lunch in the café or purchase a few souvenirs in the gift shop. After our time in the Elan Valley we return back to our hotel to enjoy a free afternoon in Llandrindod Wells before our evening meal.

Day 3:
After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to the beautiful town of Aberystwyth, nestled between the Cambrian Mountains and Cardigan Bay it provides a rugged landscape of rolling hills, valleys, sand and sea. Here we will have some free time to explore before boarding our historic narrow-gauge steam railway for an unforgettable twelve mile journey from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge travelling up 700ft through some of Wales most spectacular scenery. After our time spent on the narrow-gauge we make our way back to our hotel arriving in time to refresh before our evening meal.

Day 4:
After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to the pretty town of Hay-on-Wye, with over twenty bookshops it is often described as a “town of books” and the site of the annual Hay Festival. Here we will have a brief visit before we continue our journey to board our canal for a delightful few hours of cruising through the Brecon Beacons National Park and taking in some of the most beautiful scenery in Britain whilst enjoying a delicious buffet lunch. After our relaxing cruise we return back to our hotel in plenty of time to refresh before enjoying our evening meal.

This beautiful city has it all including an array of independent shops for any shopping enthusiasts to enjoy. After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our way to Chedder Gorge, a limestone gorge known for being one of Britain’s most spectacular landmarks nestled in the Medhip Hills where we will have some free time to explore before continuing our journey onto the spectacular Wells Cathedral. A Cathedral that inspired the pilgrims for nearly 850 years and is one of the earliest English Cathedrals to be built in the Gothic style housing the oldest medieval clock faces in the world. With it’s stunning scissor Arches and the picturesque and medieval vicars close this beautiful Cathedral is well worth a visit along with the Bishop’s Palace – home to the Bishops of Bath and Wells for 800 years. After our time in this magnificent cathedral & Palace we return back to our hotel arriving in time to refresh before our evening meal.

DAY 4

Goodbye 2024 and hello 2025.
What a brilliant year we have had, so many beautiful places visited and many miles covered. It’s been lovely making more memories with our returning customers as well as our new customers who travelled with us for the first time in 2024.
