Absolutely delighted to announce a new tour for 2025. For those walkers who are interested in visiting local attractions and heritage sites this tour is perfect. Combining daily guided walks of 2 to 4 hours with free time to discover the Isle of Man.

A few photos of the first 3 days of walking showing off the Isle of Man to some visitors from the UK and USA. Everyone is off to various attractions tomorrow then we continue with another 2 days of walking.
Weather has really been quite kind to us so far, especially for our Snaefell day.

More than just walks - see how many plants you can identify when out with a group guided walk. Slow it down and take a break.

Day 5 - Isle of Man- Highlights, History & Heritage
Despite the misty drizzle today we all enjoyed the last walk of the tour.
Peel - Glen Maye circuit
A bit wet by the finish but now all warmed up.
Off to a farewell group dinner tonight.
Thanks to everyone for an enjoyable week.

Day 4 Isle of Man- Highlights, History & Heritage
Steam Train Douglas - Port Erin then a walk on the coastal footpath around the Sound with views to the Calf of Man. Delicious soup and scones for lunch - yum 😋
Return via Cregneash and Meayll Circle.
Warm with hazy 🌞 sunshine.
Another great day out.

Day 3 - Isle of Man Highlights, History and Heritage
Tramming it from Derby Castle to the Summit Cafe where we stocked up on coffee, scones and cream before heading the short distance to the summit cairn.
Hang on to the hats - a little bit windy !
Great walk back across the hills down to Laxey. Views all round, sunshine and warmth as we descended. 🥾 🥾
Finished off looking at King Orrys Grave and the Washing Floors.
Hello to "Harry" the horse 🐴 at Derby Castle !
Fantastic achievement everyone. A well earned dinner tonight.

Day 2 out walking around St John's in the Isle of Man. Tynwald, mining history, geology lesson around the teepee and still with time for a stop en-route for afternoon coffee and cake! Delicious. 🥮 🥞 ☕ ☕
Blue skies and sunshine just made the day.

Day 1 of Highlights, History and Heritage tour of the Isle of Man.
It was great to welcome visitors from Shropshire and New Hampshire. We explored the delights of Ballaglass Glen and Cornaa area before moving on to Dhoon Glen.
Well done to everyone on today's walk.
Off to the centre tomorrow as we explore around St John's area.

Another gorgeous day as a volunteer sighted guide assisting with a walk for Milton Mountaineers. This time we explored around Bride, the Lighthouse at the Point of Ayre and the Ayres Nature Reserve before heading back to Bride churchyard.
Thanks to Ray for a lot of interesting local information and to Ian for the delightful railway experience!

A gorgeous spring day for a walk through Ballaglass Glen and onto the coastal footpath around Maughold finishing in Ramsey. Interesting history, wonderful scenery and great company. Delighted to be able to assist Milton Mountaineers as a volunteer sighted guide as they visit the Isle of Man this week.

Altrincham walkers.
A pleasure to lead a group from Snaefell to Laxey via Agneash today. Slightly grumpy on the weather after our lunch stop but it did not dampen our spirits. Thanks to Walking.im for organising this.

Final walk of 10 miles doing ascent of Causey Pike and along Scar Crags. A bit more cloudy today but still dry, though a cold wind on the summit !
Some scrambling was involved but all good fun.

An 8.5 mile circular walk from Patterdale, up to Place Fell summit at 657m and finishing in Glenridding.
Still patches of snow on the tops and just a bit chilly! Great views of the Hellvellyn Range, High Street, Fairfield and many more. So lucky to be dry. The bonus was time for a hot chocolate at the finish before coach pick-up.
