Welcome - Professional Fine Art Photography is far more than stunning imagery. Photography has been a big part of my life since the early Nineties.

It's about the art of capturing moments, moods and atmosphere to create unique stories. I initially started as a landscape photographer, but my work has come to include a broad range of commercial assignments, both in the UK and abroad including trips to Easter Island and Cuba. My enthusiasm remains undiminished for my personal work and this will carry over to your commercial assignment or wedding

Simon Park was born in Blackburn Lancashire, England 1965. Educated: Stonyhurst College, Lancashire 1979-83. Foundation Course in Art and Design, Isle of Man College 1983-84. BA Hons Degree, Scientific and Technical Graphics, Falmouth College of Art and Design 1984-88. Currently lives and works in the Isle of Man as a Professional Photographer specialising in Fine Art, commercial and wedding photography.

A couple of Autumn compositions. Love our red Fuchsias this time of year!
Taken with a Nikon D850 and then quite a lot of post fiddling about in Lightroom 5...
umm, I think it would make a great painting. I find myself thinking more and more about painting my photographs these days, and taking compositions that clearly work as both photograph and or painting. Its a shame my skills with a brush are way behind that of my skills as a photographer...

Into the light!
Taken in Archallagan Plantation - A lucky combination of timing and location found me in the right time and place to capture the low sun through the trees illuminating the mossy forest floor.
Chance favours the prepared photographer! I had my camera and tripod with me...
Nikon Z7, 24-200mm. Extensive tonal post work was required to make the most of the raw file.
This particular image would work both in colour and mono, but I opted for colour in this case.
