Samula Heritage Festival, a new immersive festival starts today in Sri Lanka with a programme events covering 3 days.

Designed by Santani Wellness Kandy and charitable sister company The Santani Foundation the festival features healing rituals, interactive workshops and educational sessions aimed at fostering Sri Lanka’s ancient art forms and the nation’s rich cultural heritage. There will be Sri Lankan dance, drumming and craftsmanship, and performances from Gurukulas (spiritual schools).

The festival is open to all, and aims to foster talent, promote conscious tourism and revive dying traditional art forms.

POV: Building a great relationship with a Travel Designer is an essential part of planning the perfect holiday.

Normally at this point I would tell you about the many benefits that we bring, the first hand knowledge of all our destinations; the relationships with our partners that give you unchartered access to many experiences; or those little enhancements we can make that you haven’t thought of.

But with todays global IT outage I know that many of our clients are really happy that we are taking their stress away with flight delays and cancellations.

⭐️ We are sorting hotel rooms for those people in destination that can’t travel today

⭐️ We are working with our transport partners to change transfer times and make sure everyone arrives at the airport on time

⭐️ We are making sure that our clients are being well looked after

We are delighted to be touring Morocco.🇲🇦
It’s an amazing country of contrasts and landscapes and really beautiful at this time of year.

The first part of our trip takes the route from Marrakech across the High Atlas to Ouarzazate, and then the Southern Oases to the dessert at Merzouga.

On our way we’ve visited Berber villages, hiked up stunning mountainsides, stopped besides picturesque waterfalls, stepped along impressive gorges and gazed out across beautiful verdant valleys.

We’ve wandered in ancient Kasbahs, stayed in unique and beautiful boutique hotels and had dinner beneath the stars in a luxury Berber camp.

Now onto the desert 🏜️

As 2023 draws to a close, we look back to some of our own and our client’s most memorable adventures.

We have blissed out in overwater villas in the Maldives; enjoyed cosy weekend breaks Scandi style, met tea pluckers of Sri Lanka and attended a puja to the famous tooth relic of the Buddha ; we’ve flown across the world to reunite with friends and family in Australia and fulfilled lifelong dreams on the sumptuous Orient Express.

We are raising a glass to fulfilling many more personal and client adventures in 2024.
