Sandler Rule #1 - You have to learn to fail to win.
That was such an alien concept to me when I first came to Sandler.
I’d grown up in Sales. Since I was 16. I was raised on ‘Winning is Everything’.
You must win. You must not lose.
There are no prizes for those who come second place in a sales process.
All those sayings we heard as we grew up in Sales.
The fact of the matter though is that in Sales you lose more than you win.
Learn more about the "Learn to Fail" concept in this short video.

Sandler Rule #12
Answer Every Question With A Question
I know you were taught from a very early age to “Answer the question!” and “Answer me quick!”
You’ll remember, from your school days, how good you felt when you could answer a question.
“Me, miss! Me, Miss!”
You couldn’t wait to answer before someone else grabbed the spotlight.
But now we’re in sales, or in the selling role in your business, we need to be a little more careful.
I’m going to put it to you that when somebody asks you a question, you are going to want to know the intent.
