The river was running high after the rain - 5.6 inches this week - but it's taking the water away nicely so nothing flooded.
Herons were standing by to grab any fish, some seals were also waiting at the river mouth to catch them, and I could hear the stags rutting on the hillside. No matter what else is going on, nature is doing it's stuff here in the Highlands!

Just spent a happy evening watching the stars. Jupiter is at its closest point to the earth at the moment. These dark skies gave a great view, with the help of the new moon.

Took a walk up to the sheiling for deidrie and naoise today. Breathtaking views from the top.
