Spent the day at Glencoe today. Can recommend the village museum and visitor centre, and of course the Glen Coe pass itself is famed for it's majestic beauty.

Went to the cèilidh at Connel Hall this weekend. Lots of talented people rehearsing their pieces ready for the national Mod later this month. Picture is the Taynuilt Gaelic Choir (Rowena is a member), who won the local Mod on Mull last month.

The river was running high after the rain - 5.6 inches this week - but it's taking the water away nicely so nothing flooded.
Herons were standing by to grab any fish, some seals were also waiting at the river mouth to catch them, and I could hear the stags rutting on the hillside. No matter what else is going on, nature is doing it's stuff here in the Highlands!

Just spent a happy evening watching the stars. Jupiter is at its closest point to the earth at the moment. These dark skies gave a great view, with the help of the new moon.
