Coronation Celebrations today 👑🇬🇧👑

Join us today for a family fun day at Redruth's Coronation town fete at Victoria Park, we have a day of music, dance, games, face painting, crafts and food lined up.

There'll be performances from the Redruth Town Band, West Coast Academy, Raise the Ruth and The Riverside Singers, Maypole dancing, crafting workshops, lawn games like a giant connect 4 and Jenga, bowls on the green and a BBQ at the Bowling Club, food stalls but also bring a picnic if you prefer.

The Townswomen Guild are hosting a special 'plot on a plate' competition, we'd love to see your green creations- the categories include-
Adults
under 11's
11 -18yrs
Best veg plot plate
Best wildlife garden plate
If you'd like to enter, please bring your creations along by 11am for judging. 👩‍🌾🌱🌷💚

Definitely recommend Poldhu Beach Cafe in Mullion for a yummy hot chocolate and fantastic beach walk 🍫

We went with the crunchy hot chocolate, and it was as good as it looks 🤤

🚗 16.4 miles from Hope Cottage but well worth the drive...

🌼 Beautiful St Ives yesterday 🌼

So lovely to see so many happy half term smiles on people's faces walking around 🚶🏽‍♀️

St Ives is a short 30 minute car journey from Hope Cottage but it's beauty is well worth the drive 🚗

Alternatively, take the train (54 minute duration) which is 4 minutes walk from Hope Cottage and make a whole day of it!
