Yesterday we closed the doors to the Cornhill Smithy and the Cornhill Inn for the last time, we are on to the next adventure and a new chapter.

We would like to thank everyone that helped us throughout the renovation process and a fond farewell to all the fantastic friends we have made here in Rhayader.

We would also like to thank every single guest who has stayed at the Cornhill Smithy over the past few years. We’ve met so many great people, all with different stories and reasons for wishing to stay at our accommodation…..thank you all.

Last night we had the pleasure of unveiling our latest print which celebrates Welsh Dark Skies Week.

We teamed up with the wonderful people at the Cambrian Mountains - Area Of Astounding Natural Beauty initiative to produce this collaborative piece. We hope to have these available in stores around the Cambrian Mountains very soon.

Here's our 2024 Rhayader Round The Lakes Race souvenir print!
It will be available to buy at the main event field near the starting gate at this years race.

These A3 prints will make great mementos for competitors and family on the day.

Love this little 5 mile loop, there was a strange yellow thing in the sky today. Out the door of the and straight into it….the wibbly bridge always gives an “Indiana Jones” moment.
